The un-told story of Nymphadora Tonks (ON HOLD)

~:Chapter six:~

Tonks looked around the castle frantically for the one and only person that could help her, she searched down in the dungeons and asked if he was in his common room, but no he wasn't there, Tonks was about to give up when she saw him outside sitting underneath a tree reading a book.

Tonks ran towards him quickly with her heavy bag full of books and quills

"Hey! Snivelus!" Tonks yelled, he looked up slowly from his book then looked back down again as Tonks approached him

"Snivelus! Could you help me with something?"

"Go away Nymphadora i'm reading"

"Don't call me Nymphadora!"

"You called me a name so I called you a name back it's fair"

"Fine..." Tonks muttered then turned back to Severus "can I ask a favour?" Tonks tried to be as polite as she could be 

"It depends what it is" Severus said turning a page carefully on his book

"I need you to help me with my defence against the dark arts homework..." Tonks forced herself to say it

"Why should I? You could get your friends to pick on me! Tonks i'm a lot of things but one of them isn't thick"

"One of them's a traitor..." Tonks muttered 

"What was that?"

"Nothing!"

"Well if you want me to help you with your homework there are a few conditions..."

"Well, what are they?"

"Well you tell Potter to keep away from me, I am fed up with him in my sight"

"I could arrange that with Prongs I s'pose, and what's the other condition"

"You tell your friends to stop calling me those pathetic nicknames"

"Yeah I will arrange that with the guys"

"Fine then, what bit are you stuck on..."

About an hour later Tonks's homework was complete thanks to the help of Severus, Tonks got up and collected her books, when the maradurs and Lily approached them.

"What did you do to Snivelus trout?" James asked with a smile

Severus looked at Tonks, he looked hurt at what James had just called him and he was giving a look to say 'you did promise'. Tonks turned to James

"Prongs please don't call Severus names" Tonks said bravely

"And why should I do that?" James smirked

"Tonks has got a boyfriend! Tonks has got a boyfriend!" Sirius chanted

"Shut up Padfoot" Tonks said and Sirius immediately silenced "because Prongs me and Snape made a deal, he said he would help me with my homework and I said that all of us would stop calling him names and James would keep out of his sight"

"Well then Tonks I guess we'll keep out of your sight as well..." James said then began to walk off but Lily stopped him

"James wait, Tonks is our friend we can't turn our backs on her, she made a deal with Severus, fine, that's cool with me, and beside's Tonks never does her homework and none of us are that great and defence against the dark arts" 

"Whatever..." Sirius rolled his eyes

"Well i'm with Tonks, I don't care what you lot say" Lily said grabbing Tonks's arm

"Fine..." James muttered and then walked off with the maradurs

"Don't worry about them Tonks" Lily said

"Not going to, besides we still need to beat up Sirius" Tonks smiled

"You can, I don't want to get into trouble"

"Alright then, lets go..."
