James and Tonks stood there shocked, while on Severus's face an evil grin was plastered there, Tonks had a feeling he'd been meaning to get them both in trouble since Sirius and the whomping willow, but then again James did save him.
"Well, well, well who do we have here? Nymphadora and Potter!" Severus smirked, James grabbed Tonks so she didn't dive at Severus, the last thing they wanted was all the teachers finding them
"Yeah your a very good detective Snivellus, has to take a genius to work out who we are!" James snorted
"Watch your cheek Potter! I could report you now! What a story to tell McGonagall the head boy out late at night with his new girlfriend! Oh how Lily will be upset!"
"Shut it! We can report you too! Your not supposed to be out of bed either!" Tonks hissed
"I'm actually a prefect" Severus said proudly showing his badge
"Since when?!" Tonks shrieked in disbelief
"Since McGonagall thought I was worthy of the job!"
Tonks and James thought for a moment, they could report Snape but then he'll report them or they could just keep it zipped. It really annoyed James that Severus was acting all smart and as though he could have his own way, but little did James know about Severus's past...
"Tell you what ol' Snivellus if you report us we'll get you back but if you don't we'll leave you alone" James said smartly, Severus pulled a face then sneered
"Very well Potter, your got lucky but don't let me catch you again!" Severus hissed
"See you later Snivellus!" James waved and snatched his cloak back, Tonks laughed and James put the cloak over them again
"Fancy that" Tonks said as her and James were walking out of the corridor they had stumbled across Severus "getting caught by ol' Snape and you smart us out!" Tonks laughed
"Well I have my uses!" James sniggered "i'll drop you off outside your common room, unless you want to do some more snooping?"
"I'm good for today, but we've got to do this again!"
"Yeah sure! I don't know when but we'll arrange it"
"Right you are! Looks like we're here, see you later!"
"Bye Tonks!" James waved as she stepped inside the common room
