The un-told story of Nymphadora Tonks (ON HOLD)

I lose something and Snivellus gains something

~:Chapter twelve:~

The next morning Tonks woke up feeling happier, she couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night when she snooped around school with James, she found it amazing and couldn't wait to do it again! Tonks put on her school uniform (not taking much care with her tie and just draping it round her neck) then headed downstairs to the great hall.

When she was on the staircase she saw Severus and Lily outside the great hall talking to each other, Lily looked shocked but despite Severus trying to add deatil to the story over his shocked face looked rather amused, Tonks hid behind one of the gargoyles and listened to their conversation.

"-Are you serious Severus? Tonks was out late last night with James?" Lily asked

"I'm afraid so Lily, they looked rather happy with each other, and I just had to tell you because Potter is cheating on you!" 

"I-I can't belive this! I'm truly shocked at James's actions! Oh Severus! Thank you so much for telling me! I shouldn't of doubted you when you called me a mud-blood! That was only a stupid little name that you didn't mean to call me! I'm so sorry!" Tonks peered around the gargoyle and saw that Lily had flung her arms around Severus and he looked quite pleased with himself 

"Sad love isn't it?" The gargoyle said above Tonks 

"Quiet you!" Tonks hissed at it, she pulled out one of her books and whacked it on the head, it silenced instantly and didn't complain, Tonks had to go see James immediatley about this 

Tonks waited for Severus and Lily to head into the great hall before running up to the Gryffindor common room un-noticed, she hammered on the fat-lady's painting furiously 

"Calm yourself dear!" The fat lady said 

"Yeah, yeah whatever! I need to speak to James Potter immediatley! It's too important for me to hang around all...James!" Suddenly James had walked out of the portrait hole and was looking at Tonks in shock at her annoyed/ impatient face and her hair was turning lots of different colours. 

"Tonks? What's up with you?" James asked frowning 

"Look..." Tonks glanced up at the fat lady's painting then grabbed James by the scruff of the neck and pulled him down a couple of staircases so they were out of earshot of any nosey portraits

"Well...?" James asked annoyed

"I was heading down to breakfast this morning when I saw Snivellus with Lily, and he was talking about what happened last night with us under the invisibility cloak and she sort of mixed it up by saying it was as though we were boyfriend and girlfriend, Lily belived all of it and now it seems to me that she thinks that you cheated on her with me!" Tonks shrieked as her hair changing colours went haywire

"Oh my god!" James swore his mouth was hanging open, Tonks put two fingers on his chin and pushed his jaw up but then she saw Severus loom over them

"You see Lily dear? See what I mean about them getting all loved up?" Severus said to Lily pointing at Tonks who had two fingers on James's chin and Lily obviously took this the wrong way because she started to cry in Severus's robes

"H-How dare y-you James! I t-trusted you!" She sniffed 

"Lily this is not what you think!" James protested 

"YES IT IS!" She snapped lifting her head up from Severus's robes 

"Tonks? What are you doing?" Tonks spun around and saw Remus behind her, she only just realised that she still had her two fingers under James's chin

"Remus! I can..."

"You know what, forget it..." Remus shook his head and walked down the stairs with Sirius and Peter behind him shaking their heads at Tonks

"SNIVELLUS YOU LITTLE..." (James said a word that made Lily gasp) "YOU'VE BROKEN ME AND LILY UP! AND NOW TONKS AND REMUS! YOU ARE GOING TO PAY!" He barked, he pulled out his wand "Wingardium Leviosa!" He hissed at Severus but Lily jumped in the way

"James you can't do-WOAH!" Before Lily could complete her sentance she was taken up into the air by the charm James had used, James cursed under his breath and hissed, he stopped the spell and Lily fell into Severus's arms

Severus put Lily firmly on the ground, grabbed her hand and they both stormed off in a rage, Tonks leany against the banister and tried to hold in her tears, all because of Snape she had lost her boyfriend, the one she loved and trusted and she knew Remus did too, or did...James stood next to her and sighed

"Snivellus the git, he's going to pay for this, you know that? He's going to get beaten up by both of us, i'm telling you..." James snarled

"Yeah..." Tonks whispered as her hair colour turned blue
