{Few Days Later/Tami's POV}
I was in the back room grabbing more alcohol bottles while wondering why I'm still here. I wish there was more job offers around where I live so could actually quit. Today I decided to wear black skinny jeans along with a crop top, black vest and white boots (MEDIA! I don't know if the media is working or not so I'm sorry if it's not). I didn't bother buttoning my vest and just left it open so people were able to see my belly piercing but I couldn't care less since this job has fucked up my life a lot
"TAMI! YOU HAVE VISITORS" I heard Ben shout from the front, I frowned in confusion. Who would visit me? I stood up and grabbed four bottles before walking back to the front, Ben grabbed two bottles from me and placed them on the counter. I placed the two bottles in my hands down as well before walking around Ben to see Jenny, Aria, Natalie and some other people facing the dance floor while their back is to the bar
"Hiya girls, how can I help?" I said and leaned against the counter, they all turned around and I froze when I saw JJ. What is he doing here? He looked at me and frowned his eyebrows but didn't say anything, I quickly looked at Jenny and the others
"I came to give your clothes back but also to hang out here for a little bit" Jenny said and handed back my clothes, I smiled and grabbed before placing them on a shelf under the bar while making a mental note to grab them before leaving
"Well thank you for returning my clothes and I hope you guys have a great night here" I said, I watched as one of the boys nudged Jenny
"Oh right, erm.. You know Aria and Natalie obviously. This is my boyfriend Tobi, his friends JJ, Harry. Josh and his girlfriend Freya. This is Vik, Aria's boyfriend and lastly we have Ethan who is Natalie's boyfriend" Jenny said introducing the group, I gave them a small wave
"Boys and Freya, this is Tami. She was the one who let Jenny borrow her clothes after spilling drink on Jenny" Natalie said, I giggled a little
"Sorry again about that Jenny" I said
"It's nothing, just glad you had spare clothes or else I would of walked home with a stain on my dress" Jenny said
"Ayyyy! Look who decided to join us?" Tobi said before they all looked in the direction Tobi was looking in, I looked over and regretted it once I saw who it was. I quickly looked away and looked at Ben who looked at me confused
"It's him, it's Simon" I mouthed to Ben who quickly understood me, Ben was the only person in the club that I was close to. He knew everything about me like I knew everything about him
"We decided to join you guys since there was nothing to do" I heard him say, I looked at Ben not knowing what to do. Ben grabbed a towel and throw it at me, I grabbed it and started to clean the counter hoping that they all would just ignore me
"So this is the famous club you three couldn't stop talking about?" I heard a girl say, I looked up for a few seconds to see a girl clinged to Simon's arm and of course it was the none other than Maya herself. I looked away and continued to clean the counter
"Tami?" I froze on my spot when I heard him say my name, I looked up and gave him a fake smile
"Hi Simon" I said
"You know her?" Jenny asked
"Yea" Simon said while staring directly at me
"I thought you were familiar, just didn't think it would be you Tami" JJ said
"How do you guys know her?" Maya asked while looking me up and down
"I went to the same school as them" I said
"We're best friends" Simon said
"Were best friends" I said correcting him, Simon and JJ both gave me a confused look
"Well.. erm.. This just got awkward" I heard Harry say
"Oh that's cool, so you knew Simon and JJ before starting YouTube" Maya said
"Yea I did" I said before awkwardly coughing
"What drinks would you like?" I asked changing subject, they all looked at me before telling me what they wanted while Ben got to work making their drinks
"Tami, can me and Simon talk to you?" JJ asked me, I looked at them then at Ben who gave me a small nod. I sighed and nodded towards the other end of the bar before walking over there and leaning against the counter, JJ came over while Simon told Maya something before kissing her. I quickly looked away and pushed my tears back
"You still like him" JJ said before sitting down on one of the stools, I looked at him before shaking my head
"I don't like him anymore Jide, he's moved on with his life and so have I" I said, just then Simon came over and sat down beside JJ. Simon looked at me and I rolled my eyes before looking away, not falling for him again
"How are you Tami?" Simon asked, I shrug my shoulders
"Ok, I guess" I said with no emotion
"How are you two? How is it being well known?" I asked
"Tami.. Don't do this" JJ said
"Do what? I just wanna know how you guys are" I said
"We are good" Simon said
"Why didn't you tell us that you work in London?" JJ asked
"How? You both changed your numbers and didn't bother giving it to me so how would I get in contact Mr Olajide Olatunji?" I snapped, they both didn't say anything and just looked down
"You both made promises and broke them so don't expect much from me" I said before walking back to the other side of the bar
"What did you guys talk about?" Maya asked, I looked at her before rolling my eyes
"Ask your lovely boyfriend and his best friend" I said before looking at Ben
"I'm gonna go grab more alcohol" I said before disappearing to the back, I angrily grabbed bottles of alcohol. I heard Ben walk into the back
"What happened?" Ben asked
"I snapped" I said calmly
"Everyone but Simon and JJ are confused with what happened" Ben said and helped me with the bottles
"Well they should ask JJ and Simon because I'm not saying any shit to them" I said before walking back out the back with Ben, I noticed Jenny and the others including Simon and JJ haven't left the bar. I didn't say anything and just put away the bottles. Just then my boss comes over and leans against the counter
"Tami, table 4 have requested that you take them their drinks. Be a good girl and go" My boss say, I sigh and grab my waitress apron then put it on. Me and Ben gets the drinks ready while my boss watches us, after the drinks are done. We place them onto a tray that I can carry
"Tami, hair" My boss says, I roll my eyes and take my hair out from a ponytail. I fix my hair then walk through the back door and into the open space, I go to the bar and grab the tray
"Good luck" Ben mouths to me, I smile before turning around and going towards the table. I could feel eyes on me but I don't turn around, I make my way through the crowd and to the table to see guys who are flipping wedge and bigger than me. Of course, not a surprise there. I fake smile and place the drinks down. I really hate my job...
