{Tami's POV}
After the awkward meal, we all decided that we should just go home. I said bye to all of them before walking off in the direction of my flat, I heard footsteps behind me
"Tami, wait" I heard, I stopped walking and turned around to see Simon jogging over to me. I raised an eyebrow
"Can I help?" I asked
"You ok with me walking you home? It's late and I don't feel safe letting you go on your own" Simon said
"Simon, I work in a nightclub. I leave around 5 or 6 in the morning, this is normal for me. You don't have to worry about me, I'm old enough to look after myself" I said and was about to walk away when Simon grabbed my arm
"Tami, please. Let me walk you home" Simon said, I looked at him then at his hand which he quickly moved. I looked back at him
"Fine" I said before turning around and walking in the direction of my flat, Simon quietly followed me
"Soooo how's life?" Simon asked trying to break the silence
"Seriously? That's the best you could do?" I asked and looked at him
"We haven't talked for a while, what do you expect me to ask?" Simon asked
"What did I miss? How about that?" I asked
"You know me and JJ really didn't want to leave you right? We wanted you to move in with us" Simon said
"Then what stopped you from asking me if I wanted to come London or not?" I asked
"Me and JJ didn't want to stop you from achieving your goals" Simon said
"What goals Simon? I had nothing to achieve, I dropped out of Uni just like you so I could help you guys with recording and travelling. Hell, I studied Media just for you and JJ. I'm not making you guys the bad guys but we all grow up together, I actually had a moment in my life where I would of joined YouTube because I enjoyed everything I did with you guys but I didn't want to start it on my own. The day you two left was the day where I was gonna ask if you both could help me to create an account and record a video with me so I get a feel of what to do. But that never happened and I got desperate for a job since I dropped out of Uni, that nightclub was my only choice. I hate my job but I need the money if I want my life to keep going" I said and let a tear roll down my face, I looked at Simon and he looked at me
"You guys left me with empty promises, I waited for you both to come see me but you or JJ never did. Everyone called me crazy for thinking you guys would return and they were right, I was crazy to think my two best friends would come back especially with a crazy ass schedule" I said and let more tears fall finally letting the tears that I held for months. I looked away from Simon
"God I was so stupid" I said before looking down, I heard Simon stop walking and he grabbed my arm before pulling me into a hug. I sniffed and let more tears roll down my face before wrapping my arms around him
"I'm so sorry" Simon said and held me tighter, I closed my eyes and tried to stop the tears
"D-don't be" I whimpered, scared to let Simon go
"I'm not going anywhere but can you look at me?" Simon asked, I slowly loosened my grip before opening my eyes and moving away before looking at him
"Me and JJ are going to make it up to you and I promise this time I'm not breaking this promise" Simon said, I giggled a little at the way he sentenced it but nodded my head
"I'm holding you and JJ on this promise" I said, he smiled and wiped my tears away
"And I will let you hit me and JJ if we break the promise" Simon said which made me laugh
"Classic Simon" I giggled, Simon smiled and kissed my forehead like old times before wrapping his arm around my shoulders before walking to my flat. I leaned into Simon missing his touch
"Don't tell Maya I wrapped my arm around you" Simon said, I frowned and looked at him
"What do you mean?" I asked
"I don't wrap my arm around Maya, just hold her hand" Simon said and I laughed
"Why?" I asked
"Just doesn't feel right" Simon said and shrugged just as we got to the building
"I question your relationship now" I said
"Shut up, just doesn't feel right" Simon said
"That's a first but anyways, this is the building I live in" I said and pointed at it, he looked at it then at me
"I'll walk you up" Simon said and grabbed the door handle before opening the door for me, I shook my head before walking in with Simon following
"Do I question why?" I asked
"No, just wanted to make sure you get there safe" Simon said
"Young man, please leave the miss alone" I heard the person at the front desk say, I looked over
"It's fine, he's a friend of mines" I said and smiled
"Oh sorry miss, it's just Nathan came around earlier and tried to sneak into the building" the person said
"Again?" I said and frowned
"Yes but we have people applying for guards to come in tomorrow, whoever we hire. We will let them know not to let Nathan or his friends next to you" The person said
"Okay, thank you. Also this is Simon, him and if he shows up with friends are allowed up" I said
"I will note that down, have a great day miss" The person said
"Thank you and you too" I said before grabbing Simon's hand and pulling him to lifts
"Remind me to get the person's name, I keep forgetting" I said to Simon as we walked into the lift, I pushed the button to my floor
"Who's Nathan?" Simon asked
"Just this gang leader that hangs around the nightclub, him and his crew have a habit of following me home" I said like it was nothing
"Seriously? Why?" Simon asked, I shrugged my shoulders before walking out the lift
"Don't know and never will" I said and looked at Simon as we stood outside my flat
"This is my place, I'll be fine I promise. You get home and get some sleep also tell the others that I apologise for my rude behaviour" I said
"You wasn't being rude and they understand, don't worry about them. Anyways have a good night and I'll hopefully see you soon" Simon said, I smiled and he kissed my forehead
"Night" I said then unlocked the front door, I turned around and looked at Simon. He gave me a small wave before going to the lifts, I smile before closing the door and locking it. Maybe today wasn't so bad...
