Madge's Point of View

Madge, her mother, Kylee, and Kylee's baby were walking through a scary cave. Actually, Kylee was carrying her baby, but you know what she meant.

Madge didn't even know the baby's name. But she didn't feel like asking. She never really felt like asking people anything.

"Here," Mother said. She stopped in front of a bunch of black blocks. Madge wondered what they were.

Kylee handed her baby to Mother, then whipped out a blue pickaxe. Madge had never seen a blue pickaxe before. Only silver and gold and stone and wood ones.

Kylee started hitting a black block with her pickaxe. Madge watched her in silence, really wanting to ask what her baby's name was. It was a really cute baby. But she knew better than to ask. Mother always said it was rude to ask questions.

The black block was taking a long time to break. Madge had never seen anything that took so long to break.

Madge wondered why they were down in the scary cave anyway. Mother had told her earlier, but she forgot. She also hadn't been listening when those six strangers came to their house.

Madge looked around the cave. It was mostly stone, but she saw some gravel in one area.

Madge watched a Spider crawl by. She liked Spiders. They were cute. She knew the Spider wouldn't hurt her, so she walked over to it. Spiders never hurt her or Mother. She didn't know why.

Madge knelt down and pet the Spider on the head. It ignored her.

"Madge, honey, come over here," Mother said. Madge immediately obeyed. She always obeyed her mother. Mother never called her honey when it was just her and Mother. She just called Madge honey around other people.

Madge left the Spider and stood by Mother, who was still holding Kylee's baby. She really wanted to know what the baby's name was.

Suddenly, Madge remembered why they were down in the scary cave. It had something to do with this guy named Herobrine. Mother told Madge stories about Herobrine when she was real little. Madge wasn't real little anymore. She was ten. She was a big girl.

Anyway, Herobrine was this guy who came to their house about two years ago. Madge didn't remember it, even though Mother told her she had been there too.

The Herobrine guy asked for help because nobody liked him. He wanted a potion that would make him better. Mother started making the potion, but Madge did something to it. She put in the wrong ingredient.

Madge didn't remember that.

But, Mother said it was true, and Mother knew best.

Madge didn't know why they needed the black block, she just knew it had something to do with Herobrine.

Speaking of the black block, Kylee was still mining the same block. It must be a really strong block.

Madge looked at Mother, who was still holding Kylee's baby. It was a really cute baby. Madge really wanted to know its name.

Madge finally worked up the courage to ask what the baby's name was. Right before she did, though, the black block Kylee was mining broke. She picked up the small black block in her hand.
