I wonder to myself quietly,

fearing to voice my true concerns;

If all of your stuff still

litters the house,

will you ever have the heart

to be back for them?

They've been tucked away,

like dirty laundry,

fear of them being discovered

by guests that we pretend

that they don't exist at all.

Do you do the same?

I often think to myself,

you have probably forgotten

about what was once yours

but no longer is -

and that is the people

you should have fought

more for instead of

those dumb,

little stickers.
