CHPTR 7: TALK

Viceral woke up still feeling nauseous and the hangover however, as he open up his eyes he couldn't recognize the place he's now laying at. White bed sheets, comfortable pillows, dazzling chandeliers that is hunged up the ceiling. He scanned his eyes looking for something that's common to his senses, He's fluttered when he saw a girl sleeping with her head leaning by the arms of the soft chair and her hands used as her pillow. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, He suddenly recognized her.
"The girl from the club?" He whispered as he slowly pick up his shirt, lying on the bed side table.

He tiptoed slowly to the Hotel door and was about to open it but a yell stopped him.
"Hey Viceral!"
Biglang napapikit si Viceral nang marinig niya ang sigaw ni Karylle.
"Don't you dare! Ako na nga ang nag alaga sa'yo kagabi then you will leave me here!?" She yelled with an index finger pointing at him.
"Okay I'm sorry! But I need to go..." Lalabas na sana nang pintuan si Viceral ng bumulong si Karylle, ang bulong na siya namang nakapagpatigil nang kanyang mundo.
"One more question, Sino si Liz?"
He was surprised by the name Karylle whispered. The name he can't erase in his heart but want to in his mind even if it's hard for him. He stared at the blank space then slowly closed the door back again. With questions boggling on his mind right now, there's only one that came out of his mouth.
"How did you know her?"

Karylle heaves out a sigh and started answering a one sentenced question with an almost paragraphed answer.
"Wow. I can't believe hindi mo naaalala? Are you really that drunk at sobrang lakas ng tama ng hangover mo? By the way, Whoever Liz that is, is the girl we've been talking about for hours! Teka Scratch that. YOU'VE been talking about for hours." Hindi mapakaling sagot ni Karylle sa binata. She really can't believe na he can't recall what they've been talking about yesterday night.

Bigla namang may nagtrigger sa senses ni Viceral at tuluyan nang naalala lahat ng nangyari noong gabing iyon.

Flashback

"Ba't kaya ganun? Bakit kaya may mga taong nangiiwan? Why of all the people, ako pa yung iniwan? She's so fucking heartless." Viceral hissed habang pagewang-gewang na naglalakad while Akay naman siya ni Karylle on the other side.

"Itulog mo na lang yan. You're drunk." natatawang sagot ni Karylle. Tila hindi niya parin maatim na ang isang Hot at Serious looking guy ay magiging hugot lord sa gabing iyon.
"I can't believe it! Isang tulad ko. Si Jose Marie Viceral!? Iiwan lang niya!?" Tuloy paring pagsasalita ni Viceral.
"Pag ako talaga nagkaroon ng superpowers, gusto kong lumipad. Para sunduin ko yung mga naiwan sa ere..tulad ko." Pagpapatuloy ng huli.
Natatawa man, tila naaapektuhan rin si Karylle sa mga pahayag ng lasing na binata.

"Ako naiwan sa ere. Susunduin mo ba ako?" bulong ng dalaga sa sarili. Naalala niya nanaman ang lalaking bumuhay sa kaniyang puso, ang dati niyang mahal..ng patago, si Billy na siyang nakasayaw niya bago pa man malapatan ng suntok ni Viceral ito sa mukha.

"Liz...Bumalik kana please.." Bulong ni Viceral habang hawak ang pisngi ni Karylle, tila iba ang anyong nakikita ng huli bago ito dalawin ng antok sa pagkalunod sa kalasingan.

End of Flashback

"Don't you remember!? But hindi naman sa pangingialam pero makikialam na din ako..Who's Liz ba kasi?" Karylle curiously asked.
Umiling naman si Viceral bilang sagot. Ayaw na nitong pag usapan ang kanyang nakaraang pilit niyang tinatakasan, "Sige, alis na ako. Thanks for taking care of me kagabi." Ngunit bago pa man umalis ang binata biglang may tumunog...

KUNG INAAKALA MO..
ANG PAG IBIG KO'Y PARA SA'YO,
ITAGA MO SA BATO..
...
Agad naman itong inilabas ni Viceral sa kaniyang pantalon ngunit nagaalangan pa ang binata kung ito'y kaniyang sasagutin.
"Billy? Is Billy calling?" Tanong ni Karylle habang nakatitig sa hawak na telepono ni Viceral.
"I think you should answer it.." Dagdag ng Dalaga.
Pero kabaligtaran naman ang ginawa ng binata,

[Hindi po ako pina-attend sa APEC Summit kaya dapat ho tayong magpasalamat dahil nakapagsulat ako. (delegates lang ang peg?) Patawarin niyo ho ako dahil na-traffic ho ng ilang weeks ang UD, blame EDSA.]
