  Kuromochi was a VERY extroverted person, but he had a sensitive side too, which you had the privilege of witnessing. He would yell at his teammates and insult them blatantly, but you knew he was doing so because he cares about his team. Before you even realize it, you were falling for him...and falling hard.

  Just as you sit down at your desk to unravel your bento for lunch, you see a huge cockroach on the tip of your desk and immediately flinch away. In the process, you knock over your lunch and chair as your face turns white as paper. At that moment, you hear glorious laughter echo around you and turn your head to see Youichi balancing the cockroach on his palm. Now that you look at it closer, it was clear that it was some sort of prank.

"You made me spill my entire lunch...you idiot!" You heave a sigh and huff as you cross your arms in anger. Food was one thing that you couldn't mess about with.

"Oh...my bad." He covers his mouth that was still twitching with laughter and you just couldn't stay mad at him.

"You owe me lunch." You look at him expectantly and he chuckles before throwing his arm around your neck fondly.

"Yep. Let's go grab something from the cafeteria." He reassures you about your lunch before dragging you along with him in a head lock.

You two were so close, that he would not be ashamed to be himself in front of you. You weren't sure if this was a good thing or bad thing because you wanted him to acknowledge you as a potential partner. But at the same time, you didn't want to lose everything your friendship stood for. As you chew your milk bread, you cannot help but glance at him as he takes a bite out of his own.

Your eyes meet instantly and you quickly avert your gaze, completely powerless of the blush creeping up on your face. Kuromochi suddenly leans over close to your face, and you have no choice but to remain frozen in that stop, or you would end up making contact with his lips. Yes, he was that close.

"Say (Your Name), do you want to be my girlfriend?" He says almost bluntly and your throat clenches as you almost spit down a mouthful of the bread.

He gives you a moment to recuperate and hands you his carton of juice and you accept it gratefully. It was probably too late when you realized that he had drank from it as well. The thoughts of an indirect kiss sent your mind into a whirlwind. As your coughing ceases at last, he throws his head back and laughs loudly, turning a few heads to look at him. For a second, you were scared that he was just playing another joke, so you prepare yourself.

"Haha very funny Youichi." You plaster on a nonchalant smile as you tilt your head at him, despite your hope demolishing into nothingness.

Just as you say that, the carefree smile on his face disappears almost as fast as it appeared. You were in the process of getting up for class when he grabs on to your wrist as you try to pass him.

"Who said I was joking?"
