Chimes.(You Shunshin)

-He is officially the Midorima Shintaro of Baseball. I am not even joking. ily bebe. You are my shunshin. LOL. Get it. Sunshine..You...okay.-

    You Shunshin was the most hard-working person you had ever met. His passion for baseball was immense, and even intimidating at times. It wasn't just a hobby, it was a part of him. Ever since you both started dating, it would be hard to plan dates and actually spend time together, because he would be practicing on most of his free time. He made one thing clear about himself, and that was that baseball came in front of everything else. But that wasn't a problem for you, in fact, you respected this side of him. You were never the type of girlfriend to nag and tie down your lover, and you didn't know how much Shunshin was grateful for just that.

  You walk into the bull-pen where you hear the constant impact of the baseball hitting the fence. The sky had already darkened, but there was one person still pitching to their heart's content.

"Aren't you tired?" You call out casually as you lean against the fence behind him.

  Shunshin spins around in surprise to see his girlfriend grinning ear to ear at him. His face automatically relaxes as he resumes to his endless practice. He hadn't uttered a word yet, but he felt secretly happy that you were there to accompany him. You knew him too well, and kept quiet to minimise the effect your voice had on his concentration. A match against Seido was coming up, and you knew how much he wanted to win.

"Not yet. I still have 76 more pitches to complete." He pants as he swings his arm full force.

"Okay. Don't push yourself." You nod at him before turning around to leave for home.

"(Your Name)?" He calls out just as you are about to step out and you turn to him with a look of curiosity.

"Yeah?" You tilt your head to the side, this gesture almost makes him blush head to toe.

"Stay. I'll be done as quick as possible."  His words warm your heart, and maybe also your cheeks as you push your hair back behind your ears in embarrassment.

"Sure."

  After Shunshin was finally satisfied with his training for the day, you both finally head home. It was usually unsafe to walk home alone this late, but with Shunshin by your side, you didn't feel paranoid. However, you hear rustling in the nearby bushes and instantly clutch on to his arm. Call it a reflex, but you feel Shunshin's shoulders jump up from your sudden grab at his limb. You quickly apologise and remove your grip. Once again, Shunshin holds back his urge to pull your hands back. He loved your touch, and maybe even craved it. Just as the view of your apartment approaches, your mind goes blank as you try to decide if you should kiss him or not.

    Shunshin rummages through his pockets as you both stop in front of your building. He would usually go on his way after making sure you got home safe, but it seemed like he was lingering a little longer today. He finally pulls something out that was concealed beneath his hand. You look down as he drops it into your hand and you had to suppress a loud gasp that would have made things very awkward. The object glistened under the moonlight as the soft chime of the small bell resonates all the way into your heart. It was a beautiful phone charm.

  You look up at his face as you try to suppress your emotions that almost brought happy tears to your eyes. He hitches his glasses up cooly, before bringing out his own phone to point at the matching charm on it. It was typical of him to remain calm and collected at the most crucial moments, but you could detect a small twinge of red on his cheeks. But of course, his cheeks were nothing compared to yours.

  He helps you tie it on to your phone, and as your fingers brush, you cannot help but pull his tie closer before leaning upwards to meet his lips with a soft and lingering kiss. You were pondering on whether or not to do so, but now that he had gone and done something so romantic, it felt like he had made that decision for you. You hear the faint jingle of the charm as you smile through his concluding kisses. His free hand wraps around your waist delicately as your lips move in sync to the melody of a high school romance.
