We were all sitting in Alex's room right now because we wanted to keep the living room tidy since Beau told us that he was inviting someone over and he wanted all of us to meet that person.

He was very nervous. He was constantly pacing back and forth around the room, which made me feel slightly dizzy.

He didn't tell us who it was, nor why he invited the person over. He only mentioned how important this was to him.

Jai was currently resting his head on my lap. His eyes were closed, but I doubt that he was actually sleeping.

Luke and Samantha were arguing over the Chemistry assignment.

I mean, who fights over an assignment? I didn't even bother doing it.

Daniel just texted me and told me that he needed 15 minutes to get here.

After a couple of minutes, the door bell finally rang and Beau told us to wait in the living room.

He ran to the door nervously.

He came in with a girl that was wearing a hoodie that covered her face.

We couldn't quiet make out who it was until Luke said. "Beth?"

I looked closely to see that it actually was Bethany.

Why did he want us to meet her? And why was she covering her face?

Yesterday she told me that she was sleeping over at her friend's house.

I ran to her and pulled the hoodie's cap down.

Beau held her hand as tears fell down her cheeks. She pulled her hand aggressively away from his grip.

"Guys can you have a seat?" Beau motioned to us.

We all sat down quietly as he forced Bethany to sit next to him.

She was staring down at her fingers the whole time, but beau finally raised her chin up.

"I have something to say to you guys." He began. "Over the last couple of months, my life changed drastically. I changed physically and mentally. My friends called me a fool, but everything they said didn't matter to me. A person rushed into my life and took it all away. I hate love and I hate cheesy moments like this. I never saw my self doing this, or falling in love so hard, that I couldn't get up." He stopped to take a breath. "Yesterday, love made me do things I regret, and I apologies for all the damages I've caused. But I love her, and I loved her ever since I saw her eyes."

"What's all this supposed to mean?" Luke asked.

"Bethany, I try to avoid promises in my life, but I have one promise that I know I'll keep." He held her hand. "I'll love you and hold you for as long as I live."

Daniel rushed through the front door with a plastic bag in his hand. He was out of breath as he tripped over the carpet.

"I'm here Brooks!" He leaped to give beau the plastic bag.

Beau pulled a box out of the bag and gave it to Bethany.

She opened the lid and held out a bracelet.

She smiled and read what was carved on it.

"I'll make sure that you remember this day forever, and I want our kids to pass this on to the people they fall in love with." Beau smiled.

They both hugged for what seemed like an eternity and then left the house to go eat at a restaurant.

I was crying waterfalls. I got so emotional.

I remember telling Bethany to stay away from love, but sometimes exceptions like this can be made.

Beau is an amazing man, and they're both adults and responsible enough to get into a mature relationship.

I felt a heavy arm rest over my shoulders.

"Lea?"

"Yes Jai?"

"Is this the kind of love you were talking about?"

"Partially, but not really."

"You're killing me."

"Why is that?"

"Because of your stupid love concept."

"It's not stupid." I chuckled.

"Is"

"Not" I squinted my eyes.

"Okay then. Answer this question." He paused "Are we in love?"

"Depends on how you're going to define it."

"Love as in me being there for you no matter what the consequences were. As in saving you from all your mistakes and troubles."

"I'll leave you to think about that." I smiled and got up from the seat next to him.
