Love Unwanted
I never thought that I would feel this love.
This love that was unwelcomed.
This love that was denied,
Even though it was clearly implied.
I always wanted love to last
Even through my broken past.
There were even broken pacts
And we all know that it is a fact.
I wasn't ready,
I didn't want to rush.
Not until you told me
How strong your love for me was.
But love isn't enough
For any progress to take place.
Because handling a relationship is rough
And sometimes it feels like you're going through a maze.
I want this to be over.
This love is not what I wanted.
I'm not ready for a lover
And also this pain that is unwanted.
I hate this feeling
Because this love was never willing.
I didn't want to give you my heart
But it gave up right from the start.
How can I be free from this love?
This love that you didn't want to have.
I'm tired of being rejected
Like my heart that has always been unwanted.
