Following on from step 5, your story needs to keep flowing from one event to another.

There can't be too little or too much drama, as it can get confusing.

There needs to be some kind of balance, with cliffhangers and such to leave readers wanting more.

Keep a note of ideas you'd like to happen some time in your fanfiction, then slot them in when you feel it's necessary.

Read, re-read and read again until your chapter seems ready!

As a new fanfiction writer, you'll obviously want more feedback, but don't beg about it.

There are clubs on wattpad where you can post a link to your story and read one in return, which betters your fanfic even more.

But be careful how you go about promoting your fanfic;

People have posted links to their stories on my own works, and it can really be irritating - not just for me, but for other fanfiction authors too.

I don't really know what I'm trying to say here, but keep your story simple, with some added drama, and always be polite when promoting your story c;
