Chapter 37

Jorden's POV

24 Weeks

It has been a little over 2 month since I moved in with Kyle and I don't regret it one bit, the way Sarah and Hailey have openly welcomed me I feel like I've been living here all my life. My protruding belly has grown tremendously that I can no longer most of the activities that I usually did in that I was now 6 months pregnant , I eat more than everyone here and always in bed sleeping honestly I am not healthy ,I'm so lazy

"You know you have to go out for walks one day" Sarah said exactly reading my thoughts

"I Will hey, but now I need a little nap" I whined and she just rolled her eyes before she stood in front of me and looked sternly at me

"No missy, we are taking a walk right now, you are such a lazy bum" she said pulling me upstairs and when we got there instead of taking a nap she opened my wardrobe to take out my navy jumpsuit and sandals, I groaned by obliged anyway. I changed to the clothes I has to wear and tied my hair into a messy bun not bothering to add makeup because we were just taking a stroll. We walked out of the house and started our path to nowhere making light conversation until we saw a little salon until Sarah suggested we go in. once we got in Sarah started talking to the people inside and laughing

"And who is this pretty young lady Sarah?" an old plum lady said smiling widely at me

"Oh this is Kyle's girl Jordan" She said and I instantly turn beet red with embarrassment, the old lady noticed me and just laughed lightly before pulling me for a seat before asking what I actually wanted to do, I looked at the mirror and noticed that I haven't had a decent hair cut in a while now I didn't intend on getting a haircut but since I am here, might as well do it. From a simple haircut, we were now seated in this comfortable chair getting our manicures and pedicures

"So how yours and Kyle's relationship, I mean how you guys is are with this whole situation" Sarah asked suddenly startling from my thoughts

"We are actually good hey he is a very supportive and caring guy , I think this whole co-parenting thing will work well" I said in all honestly, he has been so caring and there for me

"Yea Kyle Is a great guy, but im asking about more than co-parenting im talking about you guys being more like a couple like dating" she asked and I turned red again, I didn't think she could ask that we have grown close but we were never alone together, we were always around people and I doubt that Kyle had those kind of feelings towards me

"You guys really had no alone time together, so I'm thinking you guys need to talk, in private" She said as if reading my thoughts

"But I don't think that's a good idea, I have we only mutual friends , I think our feeling for each other are on a mutual basis" I said turning to looking at her and back on my toes

"Don't give me that crap young lady, I see the way you look at him when he playing with Hailey or the way to talk to him when he is preparing a meal for you , don't forget I was once your age and I was once pregnant you know " she said and I just giggled, she is right, I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones or something but I'm kind of attracted to Kyle in these couple of days I can't help stare at his handsome face or blush when he does something really generous

"You guys need to have some alone time just for talking. I trust you won't do something silly because you see what that resulted in" she said , saying the last words in a whisper pointing at my huge belly, I laughed out loudly and we got back to our silence, just relaxing and listening to the soothing music and sensation I was feeling while I was being massaged . After the salon we headed to Hailey's school since it was not far from we were.

"Jay!!" Hailey said running towards me and Sarah, I hugged her back and we went to an ice-cream parlor nearby to grab some smoothies all the while Sarah was busy distracted by her phone that we startled her when we ordered ice cream until we walked back to the house

"Is something wrong? You've been on your phone since we got to the school" I said as we entered the house and Hailey walking upstairs to the bedroom she now shares with me because she asked to sleep with me a while ago so we sharing the room

"No Honey, its nothing big just prepares yourself tonight you going on a date with Kyle" She said busying herself with tonight's meal .I gawked at her speechless with no words in my mouth.

I was in my room preparing myself looking at myself in the full length mirror was dressed in my pink lace high low dress, that sat comfortably on my body and showing my belly , my hair was now shorter than usually but I really looked cute, I had a nude make-up with glossy lips. Hailey was fast asleep, after I was done I went downstairs to find no one inside the house but Kyle walked in from worked and looked shocked to see me

"Hey" He said shutting the door and staring at me

"Hey" I said smiling at him sitting on the couch looking at him too

"Wow, you look gorgeous " He said still staring at me that I had to look down blushing . Sarah walked in from nowhere taking Kyle's suitcase and his jacket leaving him with his purple buttoned up shirt and charcoal pants

"Your reservation is 8 and you guys have 20 minutes till you get there now go" She said pushing us towards the door and closing it, I walked to his car and sat inside quietly listening to music.

Once we got into the restaurant and ordered our meal, Kyle spoke up for the first time since the whole night

"Uhmm so I heard Sarah say you wanted to talk to me "he said clearing his throat, I looked at him then giggled a bit

"She set us up, she wanted us to have some alone time together" I said smiling and finishing off my delicious mash potatoes

We began talking about her attempts and me laughing the whole time at the stupid jokes and stories Kyle was telling me until we were done eating and were preparing to leave. Once we made it outside only to find it raining so we ran hand in hand towards the car. Once we got into the driveway the house lights were all off, I guess Sarah was also asleep, after Kyle parked the car we walked slowly and quietly towards the house opening the door gentle, when we were inside I whispered my goodnight and leaned in to give a peck on the cheeks only for my lips to land on his, I withdrew quickly only to be pulled back and my lips meeting Kyle's in a more deep and passionate kiss that lingered a little longer
