Chapter 25

Jordan’s POV

When I got to work the next day I quickly prepared the boss’s coffee and continued with yesterday. Today was quite a quiet day. After drinking his coffee he went out and he has been out every since. After I was done with the folders I moved each box next to each other until I felt a presence and feminine scent behind me 

“Oh Hi there” Said the lady I met in the bathroom and that came in Kyle’s office, don’t quite know her name and I think she’s the girlfriend or wife 

“Hello, how are you?” I said turning around to face her 

“Oh I’m looking for Mr. Matthews, Is he in?”She said smiling widely at me

“Uh no, He went out hours ago and didn’t tell me anything” I said taking a seat in my chair. Today I was not feeling well, I was just too exhausted and weak, might be this paperwork

 “Oh Okay, I’l just give him a call. But tell him when he comes that I was here” She said as she departed through the door. 

“Wai-“I said to her but I was late. I wanted to ask her name but I was ashamed and quite embarrassed to ask her name. Suddenly I felt dizzy and my head felt heavy so I just closed my eyes and laid my head on top of the desk for a few minutes 

“Are you alright” I heard a rather familiar voice and looked up to see stormy grey eyes looking down at me with a bit of concern 

“I’ll be fine just felt a bit woozy and tired but now imp good” I said to him standing up and stretching my hands and legs

“Oh I’m done with the boxes and Ms Lady came “I said while yawning

“Ms Lady?” He said with a slight of amusement in his face and tone

“Yea you know, your girlfriend” I said making myself busy again while talking to him

“Oh, she called me. And why do you say that she’s my girlfriend” He said coming closer to me and looking a bit amused by me

“Nah man, these things are obvious” I said and he laughed and began walking to him office

“Ey, at 4pm be ready, we are going to a business meeting so please prepare the Everton and Lancet folder for me, and we will need them” He said before he walked into his office. I took out the folders from the boxes and put them on top of the desk then I dialed Mikes Number

“Hello” He said in the second ring 

“Hey Mike its Jordan; I won’t be coming with you today. My boss and I are having a business meeting at 4pm 

“Oh so how are you going to get home?” he said 

“I’ll catch a cab, don’t worry and tell Keera” I said and we exchanged our goodbye.

At 4pm I was ready so Kyle came out of his office

“You ready to go?” he said and I looked at him confused

“Where are we going, I thought you had a business meeting?” I said looking into his eyes 

“No the meeting will be at a restaurant, so let’s go” He said and I got from my seat, grabbed my bag and the document and followed behind him. We got inside his Mercedes AMG and we drove off, the car ride was quiet until he spoke up

“Jaaaaaaayyyyyy” He said childishly, poking my ribs

“Stop it, you know I’m ticklish” I said laughing, trying to be serious and firm
