Nicki- I said I'm pregnant

Meek- how you know?

Nicki- because I just took a test

Meek- let me see it

Nicki- you don't believe me?

Meek- I do but I still wanna see it

I got up and went to the bathroom to get the test out of the trash.

Nicki- do you believe me now?

He took the test and looked at it.

Meek- damn. A baby Nicki? You think you ready for that?

Nicki- it doesn't matter because I'm not keeping it.

Meek- what?

Nicki- I'm not keeping it. I'm 20 years old and I have goals and dreams that don't include a baby.

Meek- that's some selfish shit. What if I want the baby?

Nicki- do you?

Meek- hell yeah. It wasn't in my plans but I help you make it.

Nicki- well I'll give you a baby one day but I just can't do it right now Meek.

Meek- yes you can! You got me to help you.

Nicki- I don't want no baby Meek! I'm sorry but I just don't.

Meek- so you gone get rid of it huh?" He chuckled angrily

Meek- you gone get an abortion and kill our baby?

Nicki- Meek stop saying that.

Meek- nah fuck that! The best excuse you can come up with as to why you wanna kill my baby is that you got goals and fuckin dreams.

Nicki- stop yelling at me!

Meek- why would you even consider some shit like that? Like we can't take car of no baby. Ain't no reason in this world why you should kill that fuckin baby.

Nicki- I have my own reasons and that's good enough for me.

Meek- I swear to god if you get rid of that baby I'm done with you.

Nicki- you really mean that?" I sniffed

Meek- I'm not playin Nicki. Don't do that shit.

Nicki- I think I better go home

Meek- nah what you runnin for?

Nicki- I'm not running, I just wanna go home.

Meek- no, you not goin nowhere. You know what? Nah, no, hell nah! You ain't getting rid of this baby.

Nicki- yes I am Meek

Meek- no you not, you know why? Because I'm not lettin you out of my sight. Everywhere you go Ima be there. I'm not gone let you do that because you gone regret it later.

Nicki- and you gone regret it later if I keep it. Our relationship ain't stable enough for a baby and you know it.

Meek- if you didn't want a baby you should have took that birth controll like yo ass was supposed to.

Nicki- and if you would have wore a condom like we agree then we wouldn't be going through this shit.

Meek- ok I slipped up a few times but I'm doin what you not and that's trying to take care of my responsibilities while you just wanna run from them.

Nicki- I'm not about to argue with you all night about this. I've made my decision already.

Meek- in a few fuckin minutes you made a decision that involves another like? That's the stupidest shit I ever heard. I really didn't expect no shit like this from you.

Nicki- I'm sorry

Meek- yeah, me to. You can let ya self out.

I didn't grab anything except for my purse. I hated hurting his feeling like that but I had to do what was right for me. I can always have a baby, so why do I need to rush something like that. I didn't know when he would talk to me again but hopefully it won't be to long from now because I still wanna be with him.

After almost a week of ignoring my calls and texts, Meek was finally letting me come over and get the rest of my stuff. I was extremely nervous to see him especially after he cursed me out on the phone yesterday. I parked my car beside his and got out. I walked it to the door and just stood there for a minute before knocking. He opened the door not saying a word and a walked in.

Nicki- hey" I said shyly

Meek- what up" he said coldly

I sighed.

Meek- all ya stuff is right there

He already had everything in a box by the door and that really hurt my feelings.

Nicki- can we at least talk?

Meek- talk about what?

Nicki- about the whole situation

Meek- if you ain't keepin my baby then we don't have shit to talk about.

Nicki- why did you break up with me?

Meek- why would I wanna be with somebody that would do something like that to me.

Nicki- because you love me and you trust me

Meek- yeah, I love you. So what?

Nicki- then you should understand where I'm coming from.

Meek- well I don't Nicki.

Nicki- I don't know if you care or not but I just wanted you to know that my appointment is next week. Thursday.

Meek- why you tellin me this?

Nicki- just in case things go wrong.

Meek- is that all?

I nodded and picked up my box of things. I walked out and Meek followed behind me. For a minute I was waiting on him to pull me back but instead he stayed on the porch and lit up a cigar. I got in my car and drove away
