Hello again, my loyal followers. How's it going?

I finally returned from my vacation. It was fun although i must say, i'm much better aquainted with the after bite than i was before. BUG SPRAY DOESN'T WORK. trust me. it doesn't.

here is a new chapter. it doesn't really give you a better idea of who the guy in the closet was but it does resolve some of the conflicts... you'll see :P but who is this mystery man? and no, it's not chris. just think, there are four guys that it could possibly be: Nick, Michael, and Greg (her best friend other than Liv). You'll see who eventually, i promise.

I'm going to try to post another chapter in the next few days too so keep posted! also, i was wondering if you guys could maybe do me a favour and check out threadless.com to vote for some of my cousin's designs. he goes under the user of SlapNation5. You don't have to but it would get him off my back to vote for all of his stuff.

Thanks!!

I hope you guys enjoy this rough, barely edited chapter. Remember to vote, comment, and fan if you really like this story!

Yours truly,

Hannah-vo

Chapter 25 - The Party [part 2.]

Amy closed her eyes with a sigh. Was that what falling in love felt like? Like becoming one with another person through a shower of fireworks that started an even more passionate fire between you? Because, it sure felt like it. Her pulse quickened, her heart racing, monster butterflies pounded inside her stomach... but she'd never felt better in her life.

It was hard to believe that she'd fallen in love but she had. Undeniably so, in fact. But what else could that have been? Normally, two people would spend their entire lives falling head over heels for one another, maybe once; maybe more than one. But it had only taken her one night. Was this all a huge mistake?

Amy gnawed at the bottom of her swollen lip and smiled, something she hadn't done yet that evening. It was funny how only seven minutes could make her feel so good.

And even if this wasn't love, she wanted to give him a chance. That boy - that stranger that wouldn't even tell her his name and communicated with her through hand gestures - was 'The One'. Yes, it was corny and Amy was probably going about this hopelessly in love (or whatever that was) but she couldn't pass up the feeling that he was her prince, her soul mate; call it what you will but he was her first love.

Amy had just hopped onto her own personal cloud nine and no one was going to bring her down. She wouldn't let them. The feeling of warmth spreading through her being would prevent that from happening. She felt like she could accomplish anything, because no matter what, he would be waiting for her.

She stood up carefully, making sure to catch herself from falling a second time that night when the door slid open and a coarse shadow stopped her in her path.

"Hey, babe," Michael said, a cocky smile glinting in the darkness from the different coloured lights outside.

Amy felt a chill run down her spine, entering into immediate battle with the heat. She didn't know what to do. How would she react to that? How could she react to that? Before she would run but she couldn't. Not only because Michael was blocking the entrance but because she didn't want to keep running from her fears. That boy that she'd met, he wouldn't want that, would he? He'd want her to stick up for herself.

"Get out of my way, Michael," Amy challenged emotionlessly, a line creasing her forehead as she looked past him and to the door. All she really needed to do was get out without any harm done.
