Maura's POV

I woke up to Hayes coming in my room.

"Ethan is here but grayson isn't but I don't know if he's coming later, just warning you before you go down" he said

"okay, thanks" I said

I got up and took a shower then got changed into leggings and a sweater and did my hair and makeup and went downstairs.

I sat down on the couch next to matt.

"hey buddy, tomorrow's Christmas be happy" he said

"I am" I said and smiled.

I went into the kitchen where Ethan was.

"why aren't you with Grayson" I asked

"don't like to spend my time with dick heads" he said

"Ethan he didn't do anything to you, that's your brother, please don't let me screw things up between you and him" I said

"none of it was you, it was all him" Ethan said and hugged me.

"I can't let him spend Christmas alone so if your staying here please bring him here too" I said

"sorry but no" Ethan said and left the kitchen.

I sat down on the counter and Hayes walked in.

"I'm mad at him but I'm not gonna let him spend Christmas alone" I said to Hayes and grabbed my keys and left.

I drove to my house and opened the door and saw Grayson laying on the couch crying, my heart broke into a million pieces

"let's go pull yourself together, he hurt you, you should be the one crying" the annoying little voice in my head said

"Grayson I'm mad but your bit spending Christmas alone" I said

"Maura I deserve too right now, go enjoy Christmas and don't worry about me" he said

"no one deserves too" I said

"can we go out to lunch and talk?" he asked

"yeah, go get changed" I said

he got up and went upstairs and I sat down on the couch that was warm from graysons body laying on it all night probably.

I sat there on my phone for 10 minutes then Grayson came down with his gaur done, face washed and dressed nice.

I grabbed my keys and we left.

we went to panera, I ordered Mac and cheese and Grayson got some sandwich then we sat down.

"I still don't know why I blamed it on you. I was angry that he hurt you and I don't know what happens, I really don't know how to explain myself. then I wanted you to come home and I yelled at you and I can't believe myself, I'm sis sorry." he said

"im over that part, it's the while girl in my bed part that hurt" I said while looking down at my food and playing with it, not being able to eat it.

"it was an old friend, she contacted me saying she was in the area and I invited her over, I wanted to make you jealous but I never thought I would do that. when I saw you walk through that door I instantly snapped back into reality and realized I had everything and I just ruined it. I made her leave and have been crying ever since. I'm so sorry, I could never do it again, I still don't know how I did it once" he said

"I really don't know what I'm supposed to do" I said

"I understand if you don't forgive me, I don't deserve your forgiveness as much as I want it" he said

it suddenly got really hot inside and everything was spinning.

"Grayson I need to go outside, I think I'm gonna pass out" I said not being able to see straight.

I felt Grayson throw me over his shoulder and go outside then putting me down.

"take a deep breath" he sat while setting me on a chair.

"I'm ok" I said feeling the cold air hit my face.

I handed him the key, "drive home" I said

"our home?" he asked

"our home" I said

he took my keys and held his arm around me making sure I was on while walking to the car.

we both got in and drove home to our house.

we went inside and relaxed for a little while.

my phone started ringing and it was Hayes.

m-better, a lot better
h-thank God, come over
m-I'm exhausted Hayes, I'm going to sleep
h-sheas here come on
m-I'll be over first thing tomorrow
h-okay bye, love you
m-bye love you too

I hung up my phone and looked at Grayson who was tuned into the TV

I just looked at him smiling.

I turned my flash on and put it Infront of his face and took a video.

"Maura I was almost sleeping and this movie is good. oh my god how long is your flash" he said

"Come on let's go up to bed sleepy head" I said and stood up.

"can you give me a piggy back ride?" he asked

I stood infront of him and he jumped on my back and I fell.

"you're too small" he said

"I don't feel like getting up" I said

"same" Grayson said who was laying on my back.

"grayyyyyyyy get up" I said

he stood up and wrapped his arms under my stomach and picked me up and ran up the stairs and threw me on the bed.

he jumped on top of me and put his head down.

I laughed, "gray get off"

he eventually kissed me and then got off and we cuddled and fell asleep.
