Maura's POV

I woke up to cold little hands on my feet, "aunt maura aunt Maura"

I sat up confused on why she's here or how, "uncle Hayes is watching me and he's sick" she said

"okay come here" I said and pulled her up in the bed and laid her in between me and Grayson.

"no he's sick" she said and started crying and held onto me.

"he's okay" I said

"no he's crying" she said and let go of me.

"stay here with uncle gray and I'll get Hayes" I said and got up.

I went downstairs and he was throwing up in the bathroom.

he stood up once he was done and looked at me while I stood with my arms crossed.

"it was a very needed night and drink and I'm not mad about it" he said

"well I am Hayes, if you get caught you're screwed and I had to get up and come find your drunk ass at 2am" I said

"calm down, it happens" he said

"okay well when you have a long day and a baby who wakes up early so you can't sleep In and all you really want is some sleep, let me know how it feels to get up at 2 am to find someone drunk and then argue with them to come home Hayes." I yelled

"yo stop" he said

"NO Hayes it's annoying, now you're supposed to be watching Emily but you're too hung over" I said

"you're over reacting" he said

"no, you just can't do stuff like this" I said

"STOP! YOURE SO DIFFERENT NOW LIKE LAST YESR YOU WOULDVE SAT AND DONE IT WITH ME BUT NOW YOU YELL AT ME AND GET ALL MAD AT ME AND IT HAPPENED ONCE MAURA ONCE" Hayes yelled

"HAYES IM WORRIED ABOUT YOU THATS WHY AND I DONT WANNA SCREW UP, I WANNABE HERE FOR MY SONS CHILDHOOD" I yelled

"well you can stop worrying about me" he said and walked out of the house.

"WHATEVER" I yelled out the door and slammed it shut.

"MAURA" Grayson yelled from up the stairs.

"WHAT" I yelled back

"take it down a notch were trying to sleep" he yelled back.

I went into the kitchen and cleaned up.

I made some pancakes and then heard my front door open.

"what the hell did you do to Hayes" matt asked

"he's a douche bag" I said

"what happened" he asked taking some pancakes and sitting down.

"I had to get up at 2am to go find him, he was drunk, and argued about coming home then this morning I woke up to Emily who was scared because Hayes was throwing up and crying and I came down and he started telling me how it was worth it and I needed to calm down and stop being mad and then he said I changed and all" I said

"and then?" matt said

"well he said I hanged because basically I wouldn't get drunk about him and I worried about him but I told him it's because I don't wanna screw up, I wanna be here to watch William grow up" I said
