I am aware that this song is not exactly a Christian song, but if you listen to the lyrics, or read them up there ^ it has a great message.
Cara is singing about being at a party and not really being there. At least thats my interpretation of it. Anyways, whenever I listen to this song I think of peer pressure.
She is at the party because she was invited by her friends but she is apparently not into what they are into. She rejects advances by guys and and avoids places where she will be tempted, or at least she tries to.
She continuously says she'll be over here and points out everything wrong with the place, such as the

This song reminds me that we should not always go with the crowd.

It is easy to follow the crowd, because the way the world. We walk along a broad road when we should be sticking to our narrow path. People do not like being unpopular or left out so they follow the majority.
There are many examples in the Bible of when people went against the flow.
1. Noah went against the flow when God told him to build an ark
2. Ruth refused to leave her mother-in-law though her sister-in-law had already left
There are also examples of individuals giving in to peer pressure and paying the consequences. One glaring one is...
