Author's Note: Hi guys! I realize I haven't updated in like 500 years. It's been over a year since I last reread the books, so if there are any inaccuracies from here on out, please point them out and I'll fix them!
"Um," said Sirius," Come in?"
The door handle opened, and Dumbledore, followed by Professor McGonagall, entered the room. McGonagall had calmed down a considerable amount, but she still appeared as if she had seen a ghost. Everyone stood up.
"It's really you, isn't it?" she asked.
James smiled and Lily slowly walked over and embraced her former teacher.
"How is this possible?" Minerva asked.
"We're not quite sure, Professor," Lily replied.
"But there must be some sort of explanation! People don't just come back to life out of the blue like this!" said McGonagall, trying to make sense of what was happening.
"I think it's best we don't question it for now," Dumbledore replied.
"I suppose you're right, but eventually we need to find out how- and why- this happened," she said in return.
"I suppose you're right, Minerva," Dumbledore said.
There was an awkward moment of silence as no one knew what to say. No one in existence had ever been in a scenario quite like this one.
Eventually, James broke the silence," So... should we continue the story?"
"Probably," said Harry," Where were we?"
For some unknown reason, that can never fully be explained, everyone in the room looked at Professor McGonagall.
"Why on Earth is everyone looking at me? I just got here, for goodness sake!" she said after a beat of silence.
