At first there was nothing but fog, I blinked and then there was a big forest as far as the eye could reach, I looked back and saw the door had disappeared, 'Well guess we can't go back through there'. I looked at Keirran and Puck and saw they had both changed clothes, instead of sneakers, jeans and a t-shirt Puck had dark brown, soft leather pants, a hunter-green shirt and a thick forest green cloak. His soft leather boots were bound by a leather tether and I could just see the handle of his dagger. Keirran had also changed his clothes, a black pants, a black shirt with silver grey print and black cloak took place of his black pants and a loos gray shirt, he had silver bracelet cuffs that covered half his upper arms. 'Okay how did you guys do that? 'Just 5 seconds ago you were wearing jeans and sneakers', 'Well I do it every time I go to the Nevernever, the summer court isn't that fond of mortal clothing'. 'Well you look good in your clothes too', Keirran said with a grin confusing me a little, 'My clothes? 'What's wrong with my clothes?', 'Well princess just look down, like them?', I looked down and saw my regular clothes were replaced by a floor length, bright orange, fancy dress. 'Puck you know I hate wearing dresses, and seriously? 'Orange?', 'Why do you think I did it', he said with an amused grin, 'Oh very funny Puck, okay you had your fun, now give me clothes that are fit to walk around here'. Puck gave a little groan and I could just see Keirran holding in his laughter, Puck waved his hand and the way too fancy dress was replaced by a light, white dress that was just above the knees with brown tights under it and a dark green cloak. He also gave me a brown leather corset and some jewelry that I kind of liked like the necklace and ear cuff. 'Okay this is much more my style, but why all the bling?', 'Well I thought about a style that would suit you and jewels have to be a part of that'. 'Well I guess it can't be helped, so what direction is the Iron court?', 'Well if I'm correct from our location it's just half a day's journey south', Keirran said pointing in the right direction, we followed him and all I could do was look around and take it all in. Everything was just so different, the air felt thick, the fog around my feet made it nearly impossible to see them and something about the atmosphere here felt magical. We moved south and it was getting dark, we went to look for some shelter and found an abandoned cave, we searched for some firewood and build a little fire to keep warm. Keirran and Puck conjured us some sleeping-mats and we all took turn to stand guard, I was sleeping until someone shook me awake, 'Serena, it's you turn to stand guard now'. I opened my eyes and saw Puck standing there, it was still the middle of the night and I was really sleepy, 'Yeah okay I'm up, I'm up, you can go and sleep a little'. He laid down and I sat down at the mouth of the cave, I looked around the woods even though it was really dark it felt like it was still full of life, it was really far away but I could hear some faint music and cheering. It sounded inviting but I knew better than that, it could be a group of satyrs having a party or even worse a group of redcaps celebrating a good kill. In the Nevernever it's always dangerous, if something looks too good to be true it's mostly just that, satyrs might look and sound appealing until they try and rape you, I know scary but we are not cute and cuddly at all. 'You want me to keep you company?', I turned around and saw Keirran standing there, 'Yeah sure', he came to sit beside me and at first there was an awkward silence. 'Keirran what exactly drove you to come and collect me before mother and father would? 'I know you're saying that it's for me but you know I'm safe with Puck so why bother?'. He sighed and just looked at the evening sky, I looked too and I'd never seen these constellations before, it was absolutely beautiful, 'So?'. 'I wanted to see you okay, I was there when you were born and I got to hold you in my arms last so I missed you. 'When I heard about you and that you might be involved in something that has something to do with our world so I panicked okay, I wanted to keep you safe'. I was kind of happy hearing that, but it was still strange, I was used to Puck being worried about me but it was different with him, it felt so strange having my real brother with me. The way he talked seemed so formal to be anything near sibling love, 'Keirran does it also give you this weird feeling when you're talking to me?', 'Well I suppose it kind of does, I mean we're supposed to be brother and sister but it still doesn't really feel like that yet'. He was right, something about his made me comfortable, like the feeling of coming home, but at the same time it's like being in a completely different world, like I am right now. 'So Keirran, will you finally tell me what the exact plan is of getting us into the Winter Court?', he sighed, 'Well this new princess of the Winter Court has recently come of age and as tradition says she needs a 'coming of age' feast'. I looked at him weirdly and he just shrugged, 'Well I thought, if I make you claim your place on the throne it would be that you could celebrate your feast too, the kings and queens might propose to hold a shared feast'. 'And having a feast going on might distract the masses from us searching for something that belongs to Leanansidhe', I said finishing his sentence, he just nodded, 'Will mother and father be really mad at you for bringing me home?'. 'I don't know, but it's worth the risk, I finally got to see you, mother and father will see you for the first time in years and you will receive your full potential of powers so I have no regrets at all'. He looked at me and for the first time gave me a warm smile, a real smile, Keirran held the next watch and it was early in the morning when we went on our way again. As I looked around I could see that the scenery was changing from forest as far as the eyes could see to light posts just growing from the ground, 'Well I recon this is where the Iron Court's border is?', 'Correct, Puck you have your protecting necklace?', 'Yeah but I refuse to be in this court longer than necessary', he got a necklace out of his pocket and put it on, it looked like a little black whirlwind inside a teardrop that was held together by vines. 'Puck you're sure that thing protects you enough?', 'Oh princess, are you worrying about me?', "Yes I am, I've had you with you for as long as I can remember and I'm not losing you now', I said with a stern face. Both Keirran and Puck were taken a little back by my answer but I didn't notice because I wasn't losing any time, it took only half a day when we came across the palace, it looked modern but warm at the same time, the big windows everywhere, the iron settings and the wood, when the guards saw Keirran and Puck they immediately let them through but when I wanted to enter they held me back. 'Guards, let her through, she has an audience with the queen', they raised their spears and let me through, we went inside and they lead me through a grand hall when we stood in front of a big wooden door. It was framed with iron and it had the same silver tree symbol on it as Keirran had on his cloak, 'You okay princess?', Puck asked seeing my concerned look, 'You ready to meet our parents little sis?', Keirran asked, 'No', was my simple answer. I put my hands on both doors and pushed them open.
