A boy in 6th grade used to point out all of my flaws, and it made me really insecure about myself, even to this day. I mean, I understand that if he didn't explain to me how imperfect I was, someone else eventually would have since some people feel the need to put others down to make themselves feel better. I guess I just would have rather it been someone else and later on, because maybe then I wouldn't be as insecure and problematic as I am today.
