Why. Why do bad things always happen to me? The first thing I saw as I stepped into detention was Maggie Hallows face staring into space. She was the reason why my life was so imposible. I had not always been one of the outsiders. I used to be popular. I had a lot of friends, got invited toa ll the parties, I was even invited to sleepovers. She had ruined it all. She was jelouse, and jelosy could ruin people. Now I did have a friend,Tessa, and we were really close, much more closer that I was with Maggie. But she was leaving in a month. Her pearents were sending her away to a boarding school, just like they had done with her sister.
Maggie had been my closest “friend“ in that Group, so she knew all the secrets. She texted the true ones to everyone at school and added new ones like: “Kayla Harris thinks Ava Cammots new hair-cut is horrid.“ Obviously with a private number. She wasnt that brave. And thats how it was all over. Even though it botheres me quite a lot, how people think Im sad, I think Im happier now, having, only, real friends. Nick walked up to a desk. I just stayed standing reside the door. I couldnt just assume he wanted to sit with me. But then, befote he sat down he gently pointed at the desk reside his and said:
“Aren´t you gonna sit my-lady?“ He asked. So he did want to sit with me alter all. I should relax a bit more. I had just met him, he wasnt worth the stress. Smiling slitly I walked up to the chair I peeked in Maggie´s direction. I noticed it bothered her. How for the first time someone wanted to sit with me and no with her.
“So, have you ever gotten a detention?“ He asked slouching on the table.
“Yeah, but only once. What about you?“ I asked copying his “slouch“ in an exagerated way.
He smiled. “Yup, quite a lot in my other school. But not because I hit people or that kind of stuff, just because I wouldnt pay attention in class. I dont think my mum is going to be really happy about this.“
