April 5th 8:30pm

I walk through the isle of the plane and into my seat.

Why do I have to be in the middle?

I think to myself as I walk to my seat praying that our section of three will remain empty. More and more people begin to gather on the plane, and I am about to breathe a sigh of relief  when the attendant announced it will close boarding until a loud voice steps onto the plane.

"Yeah man it'll be sick, start inviting people and I'll let you know when I land. Yeah. Exactly. You think so? I don't know man, I mean she's hot but she's got this mole on her face that just gives me the chills."

Oh please don't sit here. I don't want whoever that is next to me.

"Yeah yeah yeah I gotcha." The sound of this guy's voice gets closer.

No no no.

"Okay sounds good, see you later man. Bye." I look up just in time to see the stranger's face. His eyes are a bright ocean blue, but deep. His hair is as white as snow, but it obviously wasn't natural because he looked to be my age (20). There was something about him and I couldn't figure out what it was.

"Umm, Hi." He looked at me like I was staring a little too long, but then he gave me a little crooked smile.

"Hi." I quickly say as I look away and reach for my book in my little travel bag. He plops down next to me, takes out his phone then looks around.

"So, princess, why are you headed to Kentucky? There's literally nothing there."

What did he just call me?

"My name is Elsa, by the way and it's just a little stop then I'm going to New York. What about you?" I say back to him with a little snarkiness at first.

"Oh gotcha, princess, and I am going back to my little humble abode." He raises his arms behind his head and leans back as much as he can.

"Again. It's Elsa, I'm flattered but I am in a relationship." I add.

"Congrats. I don't care. I wasn't flirting with you princess." He puts is arms down and glares at me.

"Then why are you calling me princess?" I ask very annoyed.

"I-," he is about to tell me when the flight attendant interrupts him over the intercom.

"Welcome passengers, we will be taking off now so please fasten your seat belts and turn off all mobie devices. Thank you."

Oh gosh here we go. I hate flying.

I begin the clutch the arm rests as hard as I can to secure my safety.

"What are you doing?" I see Jack look over at me through my peripheral vision, keeping my eyes locked on the seat ahead of me I answer.

"Nothing, just getting ready to take off." I look down to make sure my seat belt in secure.

"Is that it? You look like we're going on your first big roller coaster." The plane begins to move and my stomach kind of lurches a little bit.

Why am I so nervous I wasn't earlier. I guess I just somehow forgot how much I dislike it.

"Hey, princess, relax okay? It'll all be okay." He starts to talk calm to me which I admit did help a little bit, enough for me to put my arms down into my lap.

"Okay, sweet." He says still looking over at me. He begins to put his arm casually on the arm rest when the plane starts to get faster and faster, then going up. I grab his arm and look outside the window, watching everything get smaller and smaller underneath of us.

"Umm ow." I hear Jack say, realizing my hand was around his arm, I quickly let go and stare out the window.

"Oops sorry about that." I turn to look at him making quick eye contact then look away.
