Chapter 5:

Xerine's POV

"YOU WHAT?!" Yup, I should've expected this kind of reaction.

"I-I lost the emblem...?" Napalunok ako nang titigan nila ako ng masama.

"Ugh! For crying out load, Xerine. Sa lahat ng pwedeng iwala, yun pa?! Aish! Now we have to go back and look for it. I was going to go to the mall!" reklamo ni Xyla.

"Haist. Let's just go back and look for it. Xin, back to the academy." ani Xyzha. Bumalik naman agad ang van patungo sa academy.

"Ate naman kasi eh! San mo ba kasi yun nilagay?" tanong ni Xarina.

"Sa tingin mo, mamomroblema tayo ngayon kung alam ko kung nasan yun? Kala ko ba genius ka? Di halata ah." Inirapan ko sya.

"Geez, I was only asking." Narinig kong sabi nya,

Nang makabalik kami sa school, agad kaming bumaba at nagsimulang maghanap.

Binalikan ko na lahat ng pinanggalingan ko kanina, pero wala parin eh. At parang... may nakakalimutan akong puntahan. Haist. Panigurado, kapag nalaman to ni Sir Xander, walang katapusang sermon na naman ang kahahantungan namin. Lalo na ako.

Xyla's POV

"Aish. Asan na ba kasi yung letseng emblem na yun?! I was so excited to go malling na, then this came up! Argh! Seriously, kakatayin ko talaga si xerine kapag nahanap ko yung bwiset na emblem na yun!" I ranted to myself. Sa sobrang inis ko, nasuntok ko tuloy ang isang bookshelf. Nahulog tuloy yung mga libro.

I couldn't care less of those stupid books, kaya nagpatuloy nalang ako sa paghahanap. Nang may naramdaman akong presensya sa tabi ko. Agad akong lumingon, ready to break the neck of this... what the flying fuck is this thing?!

Tinignan ko sya mula ulo MUKHANG PAA. Wearing the school polo buttoned up until his neck, loose black pants, black point shoes that makes IT look like an elf, black framed glasses with lenses almost as thick as a fucking dictionary, and a hairstyle that looked like it was from the 80's. Eww, I think I'm gonna puke.

Tumayo naman sya. "U-Uhm, you're T-Terani Montecillo, r-right m-miss?" The...thing...asked me.

"Yeah, and what of it?" I glared at...it.

Mukhang natakot naman sya sa titig ko at tinikom nalang ang bibig nya. Inayos nalang nya ang mga libro.

Inirapan ko sya at naglakad palabas ng library. I pressed the earpiece.

"I cleared the library. Still not found. And don't go in there. There's a walking piece of dog shit."

Xerine's POV

I was just passing by the corridor nang may narinig akong nagsalita. It came from our classroom. I peeked through the window. What the... HIM?!

"Bro, I'm telling you, The new girl in the Tech Club, amazona sya. Di sya tao tol. Hagisan ba naman ako ng shuriken nung tinangka ko syang lapitan. Buti nalang nakailag ako. Kundi sira na tong gwapo kong mukha. Pero naawa ako dun sa isang puno sa Hidden Garden eh. Dun kasi tumama yung shuriken nya."

"So if I add this to the formula... then mix this with a double of that material..."

"YAH ZICO! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?!"

Nang marinig ko yung boses nya, kumulo na naman ang dugo ko. Ugh! Fuck that stupid buttbrained airhead-

Wait, that's it! Naaalala ko na! Nasa Hidden Garden siguro yung emblem! Nahulog ata yun sa bag ko kanina.

Tatakbo na sana ako papunta dun nang bigla kong narinig ang boses ni Xynie sa earpiece.

"Shit! Guys, I spotted three Ravens at the back of the campus with my Telescopic Vision. Let's finish them before they cause any trouble."

Nang marinig ko yun, tumakbo agad ako patungo sa likod ng campus. On the way there, nasalubong ko si Xena.

"Fuck those bastards. Dito nila planong atakihin tayo kasi alam nilang d tayo makakagamit ng xen dahil sa mga tao." Xena said through gritted teeth. I smirked.

"Then let's just use our weapons then." Agad ko namang nilabas ang portable weapon carrier na ininvent ng kambal mula sa bulsa ko. I pressed the silver button and it disintegrated. My katana then materialized into the air and I caught it immediately. The blade glowed, as if the sword is saying that it's ready to cut through bodies and things through the razor wind it creates everytime I swing it.

Xena did the same and brought out her twin knives. The handles of those knives can be retracted, and when you are impaled by it, your death is assured. The poison in it can kill a person in just a matter of seconds.

When we reached the area, sure enough, andun nga ang mga letse.

Three ravens were floating in the air, their hideous black wings sprouted out, and their pitch black eyes looked like they were staring at us with deep hatred.

Nakita ko din ang mga kapatid kong nakapwesto na. Xarina's hatchets are strapped on her back. Those mini axes can crystalize any object or person whenever she swings it. And did I mention that it's blade can cut an opponent's head clean off it's shoulders in one swing?

And Xynie's chain whip is already hanging on her belt loop. Ready to just be swung around, electrifying anything or anyone hit by it. And also, it's tip has poison.

"Bat di nyo gamitin ang mga xen nyo? Natatakot ba kayong may makakaita sa inyong mga tao? Akala ko ba wala kayong kinakakatakutan?" cackled the girl Raven.

*BANG!*

Naputol naman ang halakhak nya ng may bumaril sa puno na nasa tabi nya, passing by the side of her head, slightly skimming her cheek, making her black blood ooze out. Ugh. Disgusting. Awe, poor tree. It immediately disintegrated when Xyzha's bullet hit it. It's because of the poison inside each bullet. Same as Xena's knives, it can kill you in a blink of an eye. And that gun can fire bullet's so fast, you wont be able to dodge it.

"Di naman sa ganun. Ayaw lang talaga naming magsayang ng lakas para sa mga walang kwntang nilalang kagayo nyo." boses ni Xyzha. We all looked at her. Umuusok pa ang isa sa mga twin guns nya dahil sa pag bigay ng 'warning shot' dun sa daldalitang Raven na yun.

"What the fuck are you people doing here? Di nyo ba alam na sirang sira na ang schedule ko?" Xyla frowned and took out her fans. But dont underestimate them kahit paypay lang ang mga yan. The blades of those things can cut through anything without a problem. And just like a boomerang, when Xyla throws it, it immediately comes back to her after cutting a limb or two of her opponent.

I smirked when I saw that the three Ravens were having a hard time putting back on their arrogant facade. Let the game begin.

Iyana's POV

It's after school hours, so I'm walking around the campus, checking if everything's in order. I checked the library, at nakita ko si Drew, nagbabasa, as usual. Nilapitan ko sya.

"Hey. Di ka pa ba pupunta sa dorm mo? Magdidinner na maya maya." sabi ko sa kanya. He just shook his head and continued reading. He didn't even bother to look at me. I sighed. Well, that's Drew Woods for you.

Lumabas na ako sa library at naglakad papunang Hidden Garden.

"Zed...?" tawag ko nang nakapasok ako. Madalas kasi syang andito pagkatapos ng klase.

And sure enough, andun nga sya. Nakatulog sa ilalim ng isang puno. I chuckled. Nilapitan ko sya at pinisil ng marahan ang ilong nya. Wala akong planong gisingin yan no. Lagi kasing masama ang mood nyang bespren ko kapag ginigising sya.

"Hihintayin ko nalang magising si ungas." bulong ko sa sarili ko. Nagdesisyon akong maglakad lakad muna sa garden. Ang ganda talaga dito. Ang daming mga bulaklak. Umupo naman ako sa fountain at pinagmasdan ang tubig.

"Huh...? Ano yun?" May napansin akong parang isang crystal na blue sa tubig. Kinuha ko to.

Pero nang mahawakan ko yun, bigla itong umilaw, and I felt a burning sensation all over my body. Naglaho yun pagkatapos ng ilang segundo. Pero bigla namang sumakit ang ulo ko. Parang pinipiga ang utak ko. Sobrang sakit. Pero kahit gusto kong sumigaw, walang tunog na lumalabas sa bibig ko.

Then... I saw something.

It was a woman dressed in black. Her eyes were as black as the night and she had black wings on her back. She was only standing there, looking at me. But then...
