I stumbled back and fell onto the floor. My eyes widened and I felt sick to my stomach as I stared at my sister. She slowly backed away from the doorway, looking guilty and scared. I churned up the breath to speak.
"How much did you see!?" Shadow stared at the ground nervously.
"Everything..." My highlights turned white, then red, then blue, then white all over again. I clutched into the bed and managed to balance myself on my hooves. She whispered in remorse.
"To be honest... I-I knew all along..." She tried to make me feel better but seemed to become much smaller.
"And you didn't tell me!?" My highlights turned blood-red. "What am I supposed to do about this!? If you told me when I was younger, maybe I could've coped with it! But now I... I..." I buried my face in the bed and cried, trying to wake myself up from this nightmare. Shadow walked over and attempted to hug me. She just wanted to make everything alright, but there's no way anything could be okay after this! I sprang up and lashed out. I shoved Shadow and she fell back, her body half in the doorway and half in the room. "They murdered our dad! Is there something you're not understanding about this!?" I raised my hoof up to my non- torn ear and made a 'Coo-Coo' gesture. She caught her breath and desperately peeped.
"I know... B-but-"
"Just be quiet! I don't belong here.. I don't want anything to do with you! Or anypony!" I flew over Shadow and down the stairs, then zoomed out the door. Then, I looked into the sky and set course for the highest cloud. Maybe I could jump.
