KATHRIN POV*

Paalis na ako ng aking opisina, I have a dinner date to attend to.

Binilisan ko ang pagpapatakbo ng kotse baka kasi nag hihintay na ang aking ka date. Ayokong ma-inip siya sa kahihintay sakin. I was smiling from ear to ear.

I stop my car in front of the restaurant and immediately went out of my car. A valet attendant approached me, and I gave him my key.

Oriental is one of the most expensive restaurants in the city. It has an elegant ambiance, medieval décor, soft lighting, and luxurious furniture. The food they serve is of the highest quality, prepared with perfection. And that's the main reason why I selected this place.

When I went inside, I immediately saw my date.

Mas lumapad ang pagkaka-ngiti ko ng makita ko ang anyo nito, a dark expression looming on his face. Ang tibay din ng isang to.

"Hey nathan." nakangiting bati ko sa kanya. "Pinaghintay ba kita ng matagal?"

Nakita ko ang inis sa mukha nito, pero agad din nitong inalis iyon.

"Just in time," sabi niya. Pero di na itago ang sarcastico sa pananalita nito. Di ko mapigilan di mapatawa ng lihim.

Ang usapan namin ni Nathan ay 7pm. I looked at my watch, and it was almost 10 in the evening. I smirked, 3 hours na itong nag-hihintay. Panigurado ang tulad ni nathan ay hindi sanay na pinag-hihintay ng babae. Akala ko nga di ko na ito madadatna pa.

Truth to be told. Nathan was one of the most handsome men I ever seen. Drop dead hunk, no doubt. Muscles all over, but...

I'm not interested with him. Period.

"May I take your orders?" sabi nung waiter na lumapit samin.

" I want your most exquisite and most expensive red wine," sabi ko sa waiter na tila ngpapa-cute kay nathan.

"How about you sir? "

"Two appetizers, please. One fish fillet. Chicken parmesan. One samundari khazana and two frozen haute chocolate." nathan gave her charming smile to the waiter, making her blush.

Internally, I rolled my eyes.

"Do you know how pleased my dad when he found out I'll be having dinner with you?" pagmamalaki nito.

I scoffed. I can hardly guess.

In the world of entrepreneurship, where businesses are judged on whether it will survive or not has been associated with "male-only" leaders. And female entrepreneurship is at the end of the spectrum, struggling. In a world where men reigns, here I am standing on the top.

They saw me as a trophy to be hold. To be kept. To be owned.

And it pissed me more.

"Are you enjoying the meal?" Nakangiting tanong ni nathan ilang minuto ang lumipas after dumating yung order namin.

"Yes I do." tipid kong sagot dito. Mukhang good mood na ito. Mukhang di na ito inis sa pagiging-late ko.

"Great! let's do this often," he grinned.

Okay. let see, I smirked.

"Nathan?"

"Yess hon?"

For heaven sake, that endearment irritates me.

"You seems happy?"

"Yes I am." Tumango pa ito. "It's our first date. You don't know how happy I am right now. I can't thank anyone enough for this date."
