At the next Leaps session Louis seemed tense. Harry didn't know why, he swore Louis flinched at Harry's touch. He had the feeling this sudden awkwardness wasn't the result of that night, or at least he hoped it wasn't. But Louis continued to give Harry his attention and eye contact was definitely still a thing. So maybe it was something else, maybe Harry wasn't at fault of Louis' discomfort. He decided to ask anyway. Just to make sure.

"You're tense." More of a statement rather than a question, though.

"Am I? Sorry, I'm trying not to be." Louis frowned slightly, his gaze flickering somewhere over Harry's shoulder. Avoiding eye contact?

"If it's about Thursday..." Harry stopped there when Louis drew in a breath.

"No, it's not that. I don't know, I just feel a bit awkward seeing you here now. And don't take that in a wrong way, it's more like it feels inappropriate since we've seen each other outside of this," he waved his hands around, "this, thing here."

"I get that." Harry wasn't sure where this was going. As much as he wants to see more and more of Louis, it might not be the best idea. It might just fuel this obsession. Is that what Louis wants?

Harry remembered when Louis hugged him, the hot breath on his neck that made his hair stand on end. Contact, he wanted more. So yes, it's not a bad idea.

"Then we should see each other more often outside of this." Harry just threw the thought out there.

"That's what I was hinting at, I think we should." And he smiled. Harry mentally celebrated, more Louis this meant.

The weekend begun and no word from Louis yet. It was late and as usual Harry was wide awake just staring at the ceiling. The house was quiet for once, maybe his mother had gone out. He wouldn't notice if she had, nor does he care at this moment. He's thinking about Louis, about how Louis actually wanted to spend more face to face time together. Is that not just insane?

Harry gripped his phone tight, just thinking of how he'd get to see Louis in the middle of the night. At this point he was obviously desperate. And he was fairly certain Louis already knew that.

So, he typed a quick message outlining how bored he was and wouldn't it be great to see each other right this very second. Louis responded within the next few minutes just agreeing. Now it was Harry's turn, again, to prompt Louis to come and see him.

Just before he sent the message he did a quick sweep of the house just checking if his mother really was gone and was pleased to find the house vacant. No mum, no boyfriend. Perfect. Harry didn't have the house to himself much, and if he did he didn't make much of it. Never really thinking that he actually could do whatever he wanted.

Such as inviting an insanely attractive older man to come over for tea at around 10:30 on a Friday night.

And the best part about it was that Louis actually agreed. Harry felt giddy and excited now. He hovered around the house making sure it was in a decent state and that nothing embarrassing was laying about. Except for the tonne of photos that lined the walls, Harry could do nothing about those. Maybe Louis won't even notice.

And what was he going to wear?

Jeans felt too fancy for staying home and sweat pants felt too casual. He opted for black shorts and the jumper he already had on. He combed his fingers through his curls hoping they'd fall they way he wanted to. And hoping he didn't look too juvenile.

And now he just had to wait.
