"If I remember correctly Lucy said her house was a tan colored house next to a blue one."

I was currently on my way towards Lucy's, I had woken up and quickly got dressed and everything to go visit her. I was excited for some reason, I wasn't sure why just going to go visit Lucy caused me to feel like this. We just talked yesterday and even though she didn't show much emotion she seemed to take interest in me. At least I think she did, she also gave off the impression that I annoyed her which I hope wasn't the case.

"Whatever I do I should make sure not to get on her bad side, just that gaze along is frightening enough. If I ever saw her glare at me I think I would have to start watching my back every time I stepped outside. I hope it's not too early for her, that would be one way to start off on the wrong side."

When I reached a tan colored house next to a blue one I stepped up to the door and I raised my hand to knock. I hesitated for a second but I pushed aside any small nervousness and I knocked on the door. I found the house she told me about, now I just had to pray that it was the right one because a few of these house look the same. I was relieved when the door opened and I saw Lucy on the other side with that same blank expression.

"Hey Lucy, just dropping by like we planned, I hope it's not too early and I woke you."

Lucy shook her head and kept her eye contact with me.

"No it's fine, I woke up a while ago."

Lucy stepped aside and gestured for me to come in. I walked inside and Lucy closed the door behind me, I noticed her house had this strong scent of air freshener. Lucy walked a head of me towards the kitchen and I couldn't help but notice her curves as she walked. Lucky for me Lucy wasn't looking, I also tried to imagine what sizes she wore for clothes. Considering this was like the fourth day I have seen her with the same clothes told me she probably didn't have any of her own. I looked up just in time to see her turn back with a tea cup in her hands.

"So what would you like to do Lucy?"

Lucy took a seat on the couch and crossed her legs while taking a sip of the tea. I did my best not to stare at the cat ear props but seeing them this close....they looked kind of real. When her eyes were closed I took a quick glance at her smooth legs. I wasn't a pervert but with Lucy dressed like that it made it difficult not to look.

"Let's talk."

I took a seat in one of the chairs next to the couch and took off my jacket.

"Ok what would you like to know?"

"Explain about your...warning signal."

"Oh that well back in my old home I used to get in a lot of fights here and there. After I got ambushed one night walking home from school I sort of developed this little signal. See after I got a nasty cut across my back I have been on guard ever since then and now that I'm in a new environment this signal felt much stronger the other night."

Lucy had placed her cup on the table and watched me as I explained the detail to my little survival warning.

"Why did you get in many fights?"

"For a few reasons, some people didn't like me, some didn't like my friends, or I was protecting someone who couldn't stand up for themselves."

"So you were never an outcast?"

"No not really, I mean I chose to spend my time alone when I wasn't with my friends but I wouldn't say an outcast."

For a second I thought I caught the look of disappointment in Lucy's eyes but I wasn't sure. Lucy picked up her cup and took another sip.
