4. I'll Tell you the Truth

Amy's POV
I went to the cafeteria and walked up to the school store and spoke to Big the store owner with his pet frog name Froggy

Big: good afternoon Amy, you need the usual?

I simply nodded as Big uses the tongs and picks up my order and put it in a small paper bag and gave it to me

Big: here you go and I need the money

I gave him just 30 rings and walked away but I heard his thoughts

Big: Amy's a good girl, yep yep

Geez, thanks Big while I was gonna get out at the cafeteria I saw Sonic, his brother Manic, and the guys coming from he door, I stopped and looked at them and they looked at me, apparently everyone's looking at us it's a bit weird

Knuckles: umm hey Amy?

I nodded then Sonic spoke

Sonic: Amy can you excuse us please, we need to find us a seat

I have to do the technique, he's so called friends can't tell him I have no other choice, I walked towards Sonic and apparently he's slowly walking back, I raised my hand and he stopped so then I continue walking towards him and held a grasps in his shoulders

Sonic: Uhhh? What are you doing Amy?

I brought my note pad and wrote something on it, I pull out the paper and he read it

It's just something, I need you to close your eyes and open you mouth

I looked at Sonic and he looked confused

Sonic: why?

I pull back the paper again and wrote at the back

I want you to trust me, so just do it

Sonic did what I told him, I use my hands to move away Knuckles, Tails, Slade, Shadow, Silver & Manic, I noticed some students are weirded out especially Fiona, then I heard Sonic's thoughts

Sonic: gee I wonder what'll Amy do with my eyes closed and my mouth open? Will this be a punishment for watching her?

Forgive me Sonic but I had to do this (a/n while I was watching 'Mysterious Girlfriend X' I saw what Urabe and Tsubaki did their ritual, and this part has to be here so it fascinated me)

I placed my finger in my mouth and pull it out with my saliva, and I placed my saliva covered finger in Sonic's mouth, the guys were grossed out, everyone shocked and I saw Sonic blushed a little, I pulled out my finger out of his mouth and he opened his eyes

Sonic: wh-what was that? What did I tasted? 'Touched his mouth'

I walked to the door and turned back to him

Amy: follow me

Sonic was confused and spoken back in his thoughts

Sonic: huh? Who's this, and how did you talked to me in my thoughts?

Amy: it's me Amy, that's my saliva you tasted from my finger, once you tasted it you can hear what I'm thinking, if you really want to know me or know about this town follow me, we could have lunch as well

Sonic: oh okay

I noticed that Sonic's looking at me and I grabbed his right hand cause his other hand is holding his lunch, I continued dragging him out of the cafeteria and to the stairs, we've reached to the school roof and we sat at the bench where there's some bushes in rectangular pots behind it we're at the back where the doors to the stairs, we both sat next to each other as we continued to eat our lunches, I noticed that Sonic's looking at my lunch

Sonic: croquettes? That's what you'll be having for lunch?

Amy: yea, I often eat these at lunch here, anyway you wanted to know me or the town

Sonic: 'eating a chili dog' let me know about you first

Amy: there's nothing much about me, well I've been muted for some time now

Sonic: since how long?

Amy: when I was in kindergarten, no one will go near me cause I can't talk, they understood me sometimes I don't know, sometimes I've felt sad to be lonely

The wind blew behind us, I put my quills behind my head cause it's been blown

Amy: you did say to all of us that you've moved here cause your mom is working at you uncle's cafe, am I correct?

Sonic: ''finished drinking his iced tea' uhh yea, that's the reason

Amy: I guess your uncle or your classmates haven't told you yet?

I saw that Sonic's eyes began to shrink with shock, and gulped nervously

Sonic: a-about what?

Amy: 'I looked directly at Sonic's eyes' that they're associating your name along with your siblings and mother with death, but not just any death 'looked down' a sad and cruel death that took place in this town, unlike any towns or cities there's sometimes death incidents, except here in Pikarigano, it's much much closer to death

Sonic: de-death?

Amy: yes every night, once the sunsets and the clock strikes exactly 6 o'clock in the evening all the stores, malls, cafes, etc. closed cause a soul of a little girl who possessed a certain person comes out of the shadows killing any person she sees after dark, it's been like this for 6 years, the cops tried their best to find that her, but they ended themselves getting killed, a man who released that girl's soul also placed a curse into this town until they can kill the girl, the curse is 'Once you entered Pikarigano, there's no escaping here'

Sonic: n-no escape?

Amy: 'looked at Sonic' you really don't get it? Don't you Sonic?

Sonic: of what?

Amy: 'sighs' you'll find out soon enough

I gathered my stuff then got up and slowly walking away, but I turned to Sonic

Amy: it's best if you don't come too near to me, nor either talk to me

Sonic: whys that?

Amy: you'll find out soon enough, 'turned forward and continue walking to the stairs then turned to him while walking away' don't home out too late, or you'll be killed tonight

Then I headed down the stairs, I finally told him I wonder how's his reaction?

Sonic's POV
This town was cursed? I never knew my uncle would live here? But it got me curious, why did Amy told me not to go near or talk to her? And why didn't my friends told me any of this?

Sonic finally knew, and what do you think about it? See ya all in the next chapter
