Chapter 23 An old friend!

"Mark?" I shouted standing up from my seat in disbelief

"Mark?" asked Hayden confused

"Oh my god, Mark!" I shouted and ran over to hug him.

Mrs Hartigan rolled her eyes 'I see we have a fan club, here I suppose!"

I sheepishly smiled and let go of Mark and walked back to my seat, seeing Haydens angry face.

"Who is he?" asked Hayden from behind me.

I smiled "Someone who I have not seen for years!"

Hayden Pov

I slammed my fist down in fustration as I saw Bianca yell out Mark and a tanned guy looked her way, which made all of the girls in our class swoon.

I grinded my teeth together seeing her hug him as he winked to me and she quickly went back to her desk.

"Who is he?" I asked upset

'Someone who I have not seen for a long time!" she said smiling.

"Great!" I muttered. 

Just what I need, another guy stealing Bianca and he winked at me when he hugged her.

Woah, why am I acting like this? Am I jealous?

Of course you are dumbo, you love her!

Be quiet I can sort this out on my own.

'Stupid conceous."

"What?" asked Bianca turning at me and tucking her long strands behind her ear.

"Oh, nothing just thinking!" I said 

"Okay." and she shrugged and turned her attention back to Mrs Hartigan who was introducing Mark.

"Now class, today we have a new student as I was saying, called Mark Cantabalio. Mark would you like to say a few words?" asked Mrs Hartigan taking off her glasses and blushing.

Oh my god, Mrs Hartigan was blushing at Mark and she was like 50? God that's gross.

"Well, I like to go to the beach to surf on the weekends and I like to play a game of tennisonce in a while, so I'm hoping to make lots of friends at Edmund Rice!" said Mark enthusiasticly making the girls giggle and twirl their hair around their finger. 

"Show off!" I mutterd

"Hayden?' asked Bianca astounded.

Bianca then stared at me for a couple of moments before secretly smiling "Oh, popular Hayden of Edmund Rice is jealous of Bianca's friend!" observed Bianca.

"What? No I am not!" I shouted casuing people to stare.

Bianca giggled "It's ok sweetie, he is nothing compared to you!"

I grinned "I like the sound of that!" and kissed her cheek.

She smiled "That's better!"

After a few more moments of Mrs Hartigan talking, she sent Mark a slobberish puppy dog face and told him to sit down  right at the front. As he walked down all of the girls in our class clapped and cheered at him. I pretended to drop a pencil on the ground at the front and walked up to the stage and put my leg in front of Mark.

"Woah Hayden, be careful with your foot, someone could fall over!" said Mark, whipping his head around to keep his hair from falling in his face, causing me to roll my eyes.

I walked back to my seat only to be dismissed by Mrs Hartigan because the bell rang.

Bianca Pov

I raced up to Hayden after class. "Hayden, why the hell did you do that?" I asked hitting him in the stomach with my books.

"What do you mean babe?" he asked innocently, that made me want to forgive him and give him a big kiss. No bianca don't let him get the best of you!

"Don't you babe me! Why did you try to trip over Mark? He's my friend!" I whinned while walking to the cafeteria.

"What do you want?" asked the grumpy lunch lady.

"A non chidish boyfriend!" I muttered

"Huh?" asked Hayden

"Oh, I mean a burger!" 

While the lunch lady got me a burger, Hayden sended me a pleading look which I ignored and turned to my stubborn self, by folding my arms.

"Here you go!" said the lunch lady as I exchanged  the money for the burger and muttered a thanks.

"Wait Bianca!" called out Hayden as I walked off to Nat and Mark, giving me a friendkly wave.

Hayden got hold of my arms and cupped my face with his hands.

"Look Bianca, I'm really sorry ok, I guess I was just......well....... kind of j.........jealous!" squeaked Hayden.

I finally laughed.

Hayden let go of me and gave me a confused look "What's soo funny?'

"Well, I guess that I find it funny cause I have never heard you admit to being jealous, which makes me love you even more!" I said laughing and giving Hayden a kiss.

"I guess I should be jealous more often!" muttered Hayden taking my hand.

As we sat down Nat winked at me making me blush and Mark kept on sneaking glances at Hayden. I looked at Hayden realising that he was staring at me. I put down my burger "Do I have food on my face?" I asked Hayden.

"Nope!" answered Hayden popping out his 'P' but never took his eyes from me.

"Then what?' I asked

"Your perfect, did you know that, so perfect that I can't tear my eyes away from you!" said Hayden still captured by me.

I blushed and looked at him before smiling as he leaned in to kiss me.
