Chapter 30 You AGAIN? NO!

"I'm sorry, I know it's been hard for you BB!" murmed Nat into my hair

We sat like that for a while until, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

I fell asleep to the sound of someone saying wake up.

"No!" I murmed and fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the smell of fresh pancakes and the laughter of Natalie.

I rubbed my eyes and found my self still in Natalie's room, but laying on the floor.

I groaned and slowly got up, realising that I had slept over at Natalie's house, on the floor and still in my school clothes!

I walked up to Natalies closet and took out a white airy shirt, with a light blue singlet top for underneath and a pair of shorts. Once I was dressed, I tied my hair up in a high ponytail and put on my black glasses.

I smiled to myself as I walked out of her room. No one will disapoint me today, because today is a new start!

I skipped downstairs, greeted Natalie's mum with a kiss on the cheek and helped myself to a hot pancake, waiting to be eaten. 

"Can you pass the maple syrup please?" I asked not looking up from my Seventeen magazine.

"Sure." answered a husky voice.

I frowned at my magazine and looked up to see two smirking faces looking at me.

My eyes widened, and I gasped, causing the hot maple syrup to crash on the ground.

I heard Natalie giggle.

I glared at her and quickly got up from my chair to clean up the mess.

"Here, let me."

I looked up to see Hayden giving me a friendly hand.

I ignored him and kept on wiping up the floor.

"Please don't ignore me Bianca. I really want to talk to you." said Hayden smiling hopefully at me.

God, he just won't give up.

"Sure Hayden, why don't you just go walk outside to your house and wait right there!" I answered sarcastically.

"Come on Bianca, give me a chance!" whined Hayden, giving me a puppy dog face.

Aww, those adorab- wait Bianca don't say it, you don't like him remember!

I nodded at my consiouse and bit my lip hard.

Thank you consiounce.

I stood up, ignoring Hayden, who was staring at me sadly and I walked to my seat.

It was really awkward at first, because no one spoke. Only Jake and Natalie shared a few secret smiles with each other, which returned in me glaring at the both of them!

Natalie and Jake had planned all of this!

She didn't even give me a clue!

Urgg! I hate my life.

Two can play at the same game.

"So Nat, Jake, how are you two?" I asked sweetly

Natalie and Jake both shared confused glances, before Jake coughed and said 'Um, well, good I guess?"

I rolled my eyes "In other words are you two together?"

Natalie smacked my stomach underneath the table, before smiling at Jake.

I giggled and clutched my stomach "Now Natalie, you know that you shouldn't hit your friend because you know that I'm right!"

I sent Jake a knowing look and wiggled my eyebrows mischeviously at Nat.

Jake blushed, which made me smile and Nat glared at me.

I just shrugged my shoulders, knowing that I had gotten Natalie back.

"Well, bye Jake! See you soon!" I said ignoring Hayden and I walked back up stairs.

I sighed in relief, glad I wasn't downstairs, away from all of the drama and I fell clumsily onto Natalies beanbag. I opened up the book of Anne Of Green Gables and started to read it, mesmerized by her words.

I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" I called not taking my eyes off the book.

I felt a body slide next to me, and fidgeted around around for a bit to get comfy.

I glanced up to the person and sighed in annoyance.

"Why are you here?" I asked pushing up my glasses with my third finger.

"Why do you think I'm here?' asked Hayden, his eyes bouring into mine.

"I asked you first!" I insisted

God, why was everything such a drama with Hayden.

"Well, what happened that night! I'm not really sure, but what I am sure of is that I love you!" whispered Hayden, clasping my hands.

I threw his hand away and got up.

That's bullshit! He thinks that he loves me, but he DOSEN'T! HE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT LOVE IS, OR HOW TO LOVE A PERSON!

"Get out!" I said sternly

"But B-"

"I said get OUT!" I shouted, tearing pouring down my eyes.

Hayden stared at me one last time, before sagging his shoulders and putting his hands in his pockets and walked out!

"And stay out!' I muttered, once he had gone.

Stop crying Bianca. He isn't worth your tears!

I know, I know. But I think I lo-

Don't say it! Your only saying it because you know that you can't stay mad at him forever!

I once again nodded to myself, thanking my conscience, and sat in the corner of Natalies room, and cryed to myself softly.

"Focus Bianca, remember what you told yourself this morning! Today is a bran new day. No more feeling sorry for yourself and crying. No more being weak!"

I guess, I learnt a lot that day. That life isn't a happy ever after and that you don't always get what you want.

But I learnt, that you had to be strong, and not focus on the past, but the future.
