Dallas

I layed in bed thinking about Trevon step sister Summer. I mean I know how she gets treated at home, I heard she's barely home. Ive seen her a couple of times even though it's been a month.

I get dressed and leave to meet Trevon at home,he just moved in with his dads girlfriend. So I guess I'll be seeing Summer.

She's pretty, she has long curly hair, and she's fine. But she's also fifteen I don't think I should talk to her like that considering I'm 19.

When I got there she was coming out, she did a weak smile and keep on going. I went inside to see Trevon smoking a blunt. He passed it to me and I took it.

"Bruh we need to hit up a club tonight though" he said clapping his hands together."Ight" I said nodding in agreement.

I heard crying from another building, this was the first time. "Y'all got new neighbors" I asked Trev who was off in space. " I think so, its somebody with a baby" he said.

"I think Summa know them people cause she always leaving and stuff " he said standing up and stretching.

"I'll be right back" I said getting up and leaving. I walked across the hall nobody was there, I walked to another door no one was there. Then I heard don't cry, you're gonna get me caught.

I went to the door and slowly opened it to see summer sitting on the floor with a baby. "Time to eat Kayden" she said smiling at the laughing baby. She looked up and jumped, " why are you in here"? She asked.

" I heard something and followed the sound" I said looking at her. "Umm is this your baby" I said pointing at the baby.

"No" she said looking at what I guess was a him. Who baby then? "I don't know I found him in a dumpster" she said. "Please don't tell any one" she said looking at me.

"You can't keep that baby here, and you barely have anything" I said looking around the apartment. "Who say's I can't, I've been doing it for a month now" she said standing up.

"Hey wait your the one who was smiling at me that day" she said pointing at me. " I also payed for yo stuff" I said. "Can you leave" she asked?

"Ight act like that" I said turning and walking out. I closed the door and didn't look back. I walked back to Trev, "Aye we need to go get sum to wear to the strip club" he said standing. "Ight come on" I said walking out.

Summer

I sat back down and looked at Kayden who was looking around. I played with him for awhile.

Two hours later

I watched Kayden sleep for awhile. I didn't even notice anyone come in, "what the hell is this" my mom said wiping her noise. I didn't know what to say, I was so speechless. She dragged me by my hair all the way to our apartment, I looked to see Juan in front of me. "So you mama now?" he asked bending down. "No" I said shaking my head.

"Who the fuck in their right mind would have a baby by your ugly ass" he said gripping my cheeks tight.

A tear slid down my face, as his grip got tighter. I pulled my face away, then i saw my mom come back with Kayden. Juan threw me on the couch, and made me take the baby.

I was woken by the sound of the door and in walked Trevon and that guy. Juan came out of the kitchen and said "Trev what I tell you about messing with these little ugly ass girls" and he looked directly at me.

"What you talking about" he said sitting down. Trevon looked at me and said "Oh hell naw I ain't mess with ha"

Kayden then begin to cry and every one looked at me. Can I go get the bottle I said looking down. Yeah and you better bring yo ass back Juan said. I got up with the baby and walked out. I got the stuff, and went straight out the apartment building, but was stopped by Juan who hit me. He walked me back inside, I sat down, then I noticed my bags were in the middle of the floor.

"Do yall job" he said looking at Trevon and the guy.The Guy took the baby and Trevon pulled me up roughly, he walked me all the way to the car. He put me in and then he got in, " bruh how he expect us to kill ha and this baby" the guy said looking at Trevon.

"Why would you kill the baby he has nothing to do with this" I said looking at him. "Its not even my baby" I said looking out the window.

" I'm not gone kill you or that damn baby" Trevon said pulling up to a house. "What we doing at my house" the guy said confused.

"Let ha stay here bruh, until I figure something out" Trevon said. "Man Nah kill this bitch cause yo daddy don't play about this shit and you know that" the guy said.

"Man stop tripping, summa get out" Trevon said to me. Here he said handing me Kayden, I stood outside of the car until the guy got out.We went in and Trevon drove off,"don't touch nun" the guy said. " you can sleep on the floor" he said going in a closet and getting some cover and a pillow.

Instead of passing them to me he threw them. I spread the cover over the floor and put the other on top. Do you have anything I can wear to sleep I wanna take a shower. He kissed his teeth and left, when he came back he had some basketball shorts and a shirt. These were my sisters but she left em so here he said throwing me a pack of underwear.

I took a hot shower, when I got out I put my clothes on and used the lotion in the bath room. I went to the living room to see the guy watching TV and Kayden sleep on the floor. I layed down , "what's your name" I asked him. "Dallas" he said In a uninterested voice. I rolled over and went to sleep.
