Crossroads of destiny [Yato x Bishamon, Noragami]

Chapter 2 - Idiot

A/N: this takes place between episode 12 and episode 13. Enjoy.

One week is gone and Yato was still injured even if Bishamon's doctor tried to heal him as good as he could.

" What should we do, Veena? " Kazuma, Bishamon's closest shinki, asked.

" I-I really don't know, we tried everything. " she answered disappointed

" Are you worried about him?"

" Um-um, me? No!" 

Bishamon turned around and started to walk towards the castle.

'What should I do? He needs to get strong again, we can't stay like this forever, he'll...disappear.' Veena thought

If a God doesn't answer at human's wishes he will be forgotten.

Bishamonten wouldn't be worried about Yato if she would be the same as five months ago, but in these circumstances she has changed and in her heart a strange feeling for Yato could be found.

Bishamon went to Yato's room, she knocked, then entered. He wasn't there.

The Goddess went near the window, she saw two people in the garden. Yato was training with Yukine. She hurried outside like if she was on fire.

" What do you think you're doing? Are you out of your mind? " Veena yelled

Both of them turned around to see an angry Veena.

" What's the matter?" Yato asked careless

" What's the matter? " she mocked him

  " What's the matter?" She yelled the second time

" You're injured, how can you train?" She cried this time

Yato looked confused at her. He never saw this side of her.

" Why do you care anyway? You told me that I have to get strength back. " he answered at her questions

Bishamon looked shocked.

'He is listening me now ?'  She thought

" You listened me? Now? But you haven't listened to me when I told you not to get involved with a Nora?"

" Yeah, kind of."

" Idiot. You're just an idiot. "

The goddess turned around and started to walk away.

" Well, then you're an idiot too because you care about me!" Yato yelled after her

" Don't fool yourself!" She yelled back

Bishamon smirked. He didn't know the truth. What a fool.

" Akiha, can you prepare some calming tea for Yato Go? "Bishamon asked her doctor

" Sure, my lady."

" Thank you."

Bishamon waited patiently for the tea and after Akiha was done she took it and went to Yato's room.

" Yato, open the door please!" Veena said

" No, go away Bishamon. "

" Open it or I'm gonna break it, you stupid God!"

Bishamon hoped that her words worked , her hopes were successful, Yato opened the door.

" What do you want, nymph?"

" Here is your calming tea, you've trained a lot today. "

" Yeah, thanks." He took the tea and was about to shut he door when Bishamon noticed a scar on his cheek.

" You've hurt  yourself. " she pointed out

" It's nothing." He said shattered

" Here, let me help you." She said taking some small bandage from her pocket

" you're always this caring?"

" I'm used to care about others you know. "

" Yeah, you...have a lot of shinkies. How can you support all the pain?"

" Millions of years of practice."

Yato laughed.

" You're not so bad, you know when you don't try to kill me."

" Yeah, well you're still an idiot."
