*Imagine whatever you want because its not my job as the author to force these depictions of my descriptions on you but if this helps in any way this was sort of my inspiration for hair + the dress*

Thanks again for all the support and apologies for the waiting period, I'd like updates to be less sporadic but I've got a busy schedule.

Enjoy, lovely people!

MAEVE

"Baby girl, do you remember the Gala a few weeks back that I was talking to my brother about?" Gabriel asks. We're sitting across from each other on the couch, my feet resting on his lap while his lay on the coffee table. He looks up from the New York Times newspaper in his hand and I glance up from my phone.

I was downloading apps to it because I was bored and needed something to do on this lazy Sunday morning. Another week had past and Christmas season was in full swing. Mistletoe and wreaths along with green and red lights lit up every block and shop windows were filled with Christmas apparel. It was refreshing to know that I would be celebrating the holiday for real this year. I had been sleeping next to Gabriel for the entire week, and although I wouldn't admit it, going to bed was my favorite part of the day. For one, the soothing tingles made going to sleep in his arms more reassuring, and also, I wasn't having any nightmares. I got much, much better sleep.
