tyler peeks his eyes open tiredly. he turns over and looks for josh. yes, they slept in the same bed. josh wanted to comfort tyler more so he stayed the night. tyler becomes disappointed when he sees josh isn't lying next to him.
eventually, tyler gets out of bed and walks to the kitchen. he feels a little better when he sees a note from josh sitting on the counter.

tyler smiles as he stares at the note. and maybe he smiles even more when he sees the 'love you xoxo'. it's a small thing but it makes tyler happy.

"i just don't get that," tyler admits to josh as they walk out of the mall. "how does pineapple on pizza taste good?"
josh called tyler earlier and asked if he could bring josh lunch, which tyler happily agreed to.
"i don't know. it just does," josh laughs at his new boyfriend's question. "did you walk here?"
"yeah. it's not that far from my place," tyler informs.
"i want to take you somewhere," josh blurts
"now?"
"yes, now."
"okay. where?" tyler asks.
josh thinks for a minute.
"i know where but it's a surprise."
