"Alright! Well, you know what? Go on, explore. As soon as you're done, though, come straight back to camp, you understand me?"

"Yes! Oh, yes! I promise!" you shouted, throwing your hands up in victory, doing a small jig, hopping up and down and swinging your arms about, before straightening your back and clearing your throat.

This was the first time Pan had EVER let you go explore, after a year of bugging him about it.

"I mean, urhm, yeah. See you later" you coughed awkwardly, earning a small chuckle from Pan.

"Alright, then go. Be back before the sun sets." he stated, pointing towards the sun, then walking away and leaving you to do your own thing.

To say you were excited was an understatement. This was the first time you were allowed to leave camp; to see what the other parts of the island were like. Today, you were going to get taste of something you had so desperately craved since you came to Neverland; freedom. The feeling of independence and being able to depend on only yourself.

He was letting you go into whatever part of Neverland and see things you had never seen before. You weren't going to mess this up. No, you were going to savor this memory, because who knows when you'll get to do something like it again?

"Well, the lagoon sounds interesting...but I really have no need to go there," you muttered to yourself, "and I don't feel like going to the dreamshade patch, most definitely...

You mulled over the choices in your head, subconsciously yanking on the leaves that surrounded the roughly carved signs that marked the various trails, when, as you went to run your hands through the bush, you felt something hard brush against your fingers.

"Well...what is this," You wondered aloud.

You gently removed the pesky vines and leaves from the surface of the mysteriously hidden object, only to reveal another wooden sign.

"Why was this one all covered up?"

You took the bottom of your shirt in your hand, lifting it up and whiping off some of the dirt and mud that covered up the two words scratched into the splintering, old wood.

"Flower Garden," It read, the words luring you in the second you had read them. Yeah, this was DEFINITELY your destination.

"Hmm, does my little Pan have a secret soft side?" You giggled to yourself, a giddy feeling bubbling into your chest.

You looked around for the pathway, patting and feeling around the surrounding area for any opening that would lead you to this special garden.

After about five minutes, you succeeded in finding the pathway behind a thick curtain of hanging ivy and moss. Pushing it away, you saw in front of you a beautiful stone path leading to, what you were hoping would be, a garden.

The whole thing reminded you of a book, The Secret Garden.

Really, the whole ISLAND reminded you of this book.

You ran your fingers delicately along the rugged outline of bushes and stone as you continued down the trail, excited to reach your destination.

The only thought on your mind right now, though, was why Pan would hide such a beautiful place from everyone.

Was it because he thought they would think less of him?

Was it because he needed an escape from them?

Your thoughts came to a halt as you realised the path was now gone, and you were walking through a big, no huge, field of all different types of flowers.
