Of course the heat had to stop working on the coldest day of the year during a snow storm! The bunker was ice cold, you could see your breath in certain spots of the bunker. You wore a good five layers of shirts, sweaters and a jacket but still you were freezing.

Dean and Sam were on a hunt someplace far from here, leaving you alone in a ice cold bunker. Lucky bitches.

You decided to curl up by the fireplace with a blanket and hope that would make you warm again. You grabbed the warmest, most fluffy and cozy blanket you could fine before wrapping yourself up and sat facing the fireplace. After about another twenty minutes of shivering you heard a familiar flap of wings. Turning around quickly you saw Castiel standing across the room looking at you curiously.

"H-hey! C-c-cas!" You shivered, smiling at your favorite angel. "Wha-what are you doing h-here?" You turned his head to side and kept staring at you curiously, it took him a bit before answering, "Dean and Sam requested that I come check up on you. They were worried."

Dean and Sam were like brothers to you and you were like a little sister to them so they were always over protective over you, always worrying. It didn't surprise you that they sent Castiel to come check on you, they did that often when they didn't let you come on a hunt. At first you were annoyed, if they were so worried about you staying behind alone then why didn't they just take you with them! But after a while you started to enjoy your alone time with Castiel, you did have a tiny big crush on him anyway. "I s-see. Well thank you for checking up on m-me." You smiled at him again and turned back toward the fireplace, missing the small amount of heat it gave off.

"Are you cold?" His deep voice startled you, you thought he had left. Turning around you noticed that he was only a few feet away now, looking down at you with a look of worry in his beautiful blue eyes. "U-uh yeah...I am. I'll be okay though. Don't worry."

He surprised you by sitting down next to you on the floor, "I will keep you company until you get warm."

"C-Cas, you don't have t-to!" You secretly wanted him to stay but you didn't want to take up his time when he could be helping Dean and Sam. "Would you like my trench coat?" He asked ignoring what you just said. He turned to look at you with those perfect eyes.

"Y-you'll get c-cold then!" You could feel the warmth radiating off his body, his trench coat must be just as warm. But you didn't want to take it from him, afraid that he'll get cold as well. "I will not get cold but you will get sick if you do not take it." He began to take off his coat and wrap it around your ice cold shoulders. You could feel the heat from the jacket melting away the cold, making you feel nice and warm.

Yawning, you leaned your head on Castiel's shoulder, sleepily. "Thankyou, Cas. I feel so much better now!" You could feel him tense when you made contact with his shoulder but he quickly relaxed and slowly wrapped his arm around your shoulders. "You're welcome, I'm glad." You felt your eyes start to droop, you were so busy being cold you didn't even realize how tired you were. You were slipping off into dream land when you felt a pair of soft lips kiss your forehead and Castiel's beautifully deep voice whisper, "Sleep well, Y/N."
