Lilith pov

It's the end of school and my mind can't seem to get Grayson out of it

I leave school and walk into the house there all there already

"Lilith we need to talk" Grayson says

"About" I say trying to ignore how great my name sounds out of his mouth

"We need to work on team work I know your not good at that but we would like if you tried" he said with bitter taste

"I don't have a problem" I say

"Good then we can count on your corporations" he says

I sit down at the table

"We don't like working with you as much as you don't like it either" he says

Ouch that hurt

"But where willing to work this out" he says

"Okay" I say

"Where did you come from" he says

"We have a right to know if we're going to be working with you" he says

"Yeah because are career involves you Your one of the best but your selfish" he says

"I'm not selfish" I say

"Of course you are you only care about yourself and your advancement" he says

"No I dont" I say

"You only care about one thing and that's getting in the good graces of the council" he says

"No I don't I despise the council" I say

"Your the council favorite so I have a hard time believing you" he says

"Well I don't need you to believe me or not" I say

"What's your deal parents abused you" he said

"And you probably sent someone to kill them" he says

"Grayson that's enough" Jake says

"No I won't leave my life in the hands of a selfish little girl who only cares about herself" he says

"You know what I'm tired of you calling me selfish if you must know My parents where killed by who I don't know do you want to know more I died that night I came back to life coming back for revenge not a love life or relationship" I say

With tears in my eyes

"Im-" Grayson trys saying but I cut him off

"What your sorry now a minute ago you wanted to know everything and you know what your an ass for doing that" I say

Running upstairs and crying remembering the night over and over again and it still haunts me
