Grayson pov

"Did you find her?" I say

"No she wasn't at the house" Jake says

"I found something out at the head quarters" iris says

"What did you find out" I say

"She turned in her badge she no longer works for the council" she says

"But we have her files that could probably be a start for the search" iris says

I open up lilith file and my eyes show sorrow and pain

There was so much she went through she didn't have the greatest life

But how could I think that my past was bad at all when it's compared to hers

I started assuming she was just a selfish nobody who wanted fame and glory for her missions but that was not the case at all

Lilith didn't tell us thing about her because she was afraid to relive it

She just wanted to forget which is something that I wish for the same to forget everything

I still don't know how she went as long as she did

Im looking at the picture that will haunt me forever. There's liliths five year old body lying in someone's arms with a knife stabbed in her heart

The heart that I broke the heart that is probably shattered into a million pieces

I feel this bad feeling that lilith could die what does she have worth living for not me because I fucked that up and her mom basically called her a mistake

But the thing is if she was a mistake why would the moon goddess give me a second chance mate

So she's not a mistake and that means her mother is lying about her being that the whole time

"why did she leave you because she can't live without her mate" iris says

And everybody looks at me

"Grayson what did you do" Jake says

"She found out about Claire I think by how I was sleeping I said it on accident I told her let me come with her that I love her she said that I could never love her because I'm in love with someone eles" I say

My sister gasps and then slaps me

"You idiot" she says

"You broke her heart now she left because she thought it would make you happy she loved you the whole time I could see it you asshole I should totally kick your ass I love lilith and you broke her heart we could have been best friends-" she trys to finish but I cut her off

"I know" I say

"Excuse me" she says

"I know okay I know I'm a idiot I know I'm a asshole and it kills me that I broke her heart" I say

My sister stands in shock

"Is my brother in there I liked to have him back right about now" she says

"Are you his twin" she says

"I'm serious I screwed up more than once but I will not stop until my last breath to have her in my arms where she belongs which is next to me" I say

Unknown pov

"Any confirmation of her death yet" I say

"No sir"

"Why isn't the plan working she was suppose to die already" I say

"I have no clue there's hasn't been a confirmation on her body"

I grab him by the neck" I already know that you pathetic fool if I wanted someone to repeat it I would ask get out of my sight" I say

He scurry away

A portal is opened

"Ah just the person I want to see" I say

"Oh really what is it this time"

"You said the plan would work why isn't it working your suppose to be powerful" I say

"Are you questioning my power remember who got you this position"

"I'm sorry my apologies sir" I say

"That's more like it now give it time it will work"

"How long I can't move on forward unless shes dead" I say

"I know that remember where you came from and remember who made you"

"Yes sir" I say

"It will work now stop doubting me I send you hear to prove yourself not be a coward until next time"

"Yes sir you won't regret it" I say

"Lets hope not because If you fail I'll have your head"

"Remember everything I taught you patience she will die I'll make sure of that"

Lets hope so I thought because she doesn't know what she is capable of yet let's hope she'll never find out either
