---Waqas' POV---

"Are you serious?" I asked.

Mom nodded.

"So we were never divorced. Well at least not in the eyes of the law?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Does Priya know?" I asked.

"Ya, she knows. I don't if you know this but in this time she didn't even date another guy,"she said.

Oh my God! But that day at the hospital. I'm so confused.

"I want to meet with her,"I said.

"Then call her,"she said and left.

But her number is out of service.

I just dialed regardless.

"Hello,"she said.

WHAT THE HECK?

"Priya?" I asked.

"Ya,"she said.

"I want to talk to you. I'm coming to your office and I'm not going to take no for an answer,"I said and hung up.

I grabbed my keys and she called.

I ignored the call because I'm sure she was going to cancel.

She kept calling and I decided to just answer.

"I'm not at work,"she said before I could even say hi.

"Oh okay,"I said.

"We can meet somewhere else,"she said. "I'm out right now. Going to pass your house on the way."

"That's perfect,"I said and hung up.

I went back and waited for her to show up.

The doorbell rang and I left to get it.

"Hi,"she said.

"Hey, come in,"I said.

"What happen?" She asked.

"There is something I need to tell you,"I said.

I went on and told her about the divorce papers being fake just to confirm she knew.

"I know,"she said. "I wish they weren't."

What? What? What?

"Why? I'm really sorry for all the fights we had. I'm sorry I said true that day of the double date, I really am,"I said.

"You knew I had an accident, didn't you?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Then why didn't you come to visit once? I don't care if you fought with me there, I was hoping you would show up,"she said.

"I didn't have it in me,"I said.

"So you just paid for the surgery and left?" She asked.

"How..how did you know?" I asked.

"I found out. I told you I don't need your money. I wasn't in this for money,"she said.

"Priya, I paid for that because I needed you. I love you so much. I need you in my life. I'll admit that I didn't meet you in there and I'm sorry,"i said.

"Since when?" She asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Since when do you love me?" She asked.

"I don't know. I realized a bit too late,"I said.

"I have to go,"she said and left.
