After the rebellion, the Capitol rose up once again and overthrew the 13 districts, welcoming another Hunger Games, and bringing back a newly revised Treaty of Treason:
"In penance for their rebellion, each of the 13 districts shall offer up a male and a female between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public "reaping". These 26 tributes shall be delivered to the custody of the Capitol. And then transferred to a public arena, where they will fight to the death until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore this pageant shall be known as The Hunger Games."
After many difficult years of the Hunger Games, the 4th Quarter Quell edition is introduced. This marks the special anniversary of the districts' defeat by the Capitol, preparing for a more special Games. In its 25th year, citizens of each district were required to vote for their own pool of tributes. In its 50th year, the amount of tributes brought to the arena was doubled. In its 75th year, past victors were brought back to the arena to compete.
This 100th anniversary, The Hunger Games has become more enthralling, and crucial of course. Panem, prepare for the One Hundredth Hunger Games!
