Left alone, feeling alright
In the darkness
Just like my mind
I wish that I wasn't so blind.
You act so nice
But they say it isn't true
How would you like it
If I hurt you?
I thought we had something
I really did
But I guess this was all
One big fib.
You did this to play me
I'm so naïve.
I really wish I could've seen.
Summer night and city lights
Left alone, that's not right.
I thought I had friends
But I guess I was wrong
Funny, you never realise what you have
Until its gone.
