we cry
about things
that we can't change.
we hurt ourselves
for things
that shouldn't matter.
we love
people that
we shouldn't love.
sometimes we do all of the above.
maybe we'll cry and bleed and love,
maybe we won't last.
but chin up babe, and we won't drown as fast
