•Grayson's Pov•
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 

"Jasmine wtf, I tell you I am not ready and you go and sleep with another guy on the football team?!"  Ethan yelled.

"I am sorry Ethan, I love you.  I didn't mean it."  Jasmine said crying.

"Obviously you did, it's not an accident.  We're over Jasmine.  For good."  Ethan said stomping away.

I looked over at Serene who was in awe covering her mouth.  She was as shocked as I am, maybe even more.  I know Serene likes him, it's pretty obvious.  The way she looks at him, and cringes at the sound of Jasmine's name.  Ethan is just too dumb to notice. 

•Ethan's Pov•
Some guy on the football team texted me telling me about Jasmine.  I was so dumb to not notice.  What a slut.  I am such an idiot. 

I was walking to my class and I saw Serene walking towards me.  She hugged me, and I just stood there. 
She looked confused as to why I didn't hug her back.

"Ethan I am so sorry, I saw everything."  She said.

"Yeah I'm sorry too." I said coldly. 

"Ethan I know you're upset but is there anything else wrong?"  She questioned.

"Serene as much as I love you,  leave me the fuck alone...please". I snapped.

"Eth I'm sorry I was just trying help."  She said as she looked down at her shoes.

"Well I don't need your fucking help ok."  I said loudly. 

"Ethan, all you do is push me away, I'm just on the background.  Maybe one day, I won't be there.  So fine, if you want me gone, I'll leave."  She said building up tears in her eyes.  She ran out the doors to her car.

Believe me, I felt bad. I'm tired of people taking advantage of me. I need to uphold a tough ego, because I'm tired of being a part of another person's game. I will apologize eventually. But Serene will always be there. She always has been.

•Serene's Pov•
I was so upset, and humiliated. This always happens. One minute he's my best friend, the next we fight and I always end up being the one that gets hurt. He doesn't understand that I care so much about him. He pushes everybody away and expects them to be there forever. Well maybe one day I won't be there.

•Grayson's Pov•
I went to the parking lot and noticed Serene's car wasn't there. She left me here. Great. I went up to Ethan who was sitting on a bench.

"Ethan Serene isn't here." I stated.

"I know she left before 1st period." He explained.

"What? Why?! Is she ok?" I asked.

"Well physically...yes. Emotionally...I would say no." He replied bluntly.

"Ethan what the fuck happened?" I yelled.

"We got into an argument, I was wrong she was just trying to comfort me. I just got tired of it. So I yelled at her and told her to leave." He explained.

"Eth can I tell you something totally honest?" I asked.

"Ya bro I guess." He said coldly.

"You are the dumbest person I have ever met. You complain that everybody uses you, when really you are just choosing to be used by the wrong people." I ranted.

"What do you even mean?" He questioned.

"Serene cares about you, and is always by your side. You need to stop hanging out and caring for the wrong people bro." I said explaining my comment before.

"Your right bro, I get it. I'm gonna go apologize." He said smiling.

We got in the uber we ordered and gave him our address, little did I know that we had to change our destination to the hospital...
