•chapter six•

•Ethan's Pov•
I can't believe Serene liked me for this long and I never knew.  I am always so mean to her.  I am so dumb.  I took her for granted. 

Serene decided to go home and wait for her mom instead of sleepover.  I dropped her off at home and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

I walked into my house and saw Grayson on the couch wearing a seaweed cucumber face mask.

"Bro, what the hell are you doing?"  I said laughing.

"Wait, where's Serene?  We were gonna have a girls night because she was sad."  Gray said looking disappointed.

"I took her home after we got coffee."  I said. "Gray, do me a favor and take that off."

"Ethan!  I had so much planned and you took her home?!  Great now I feel stupid."  Grayson said feeling defeated.

"Gray if it makes you feel better, you look pretty dope."  I said comforting him.

"Wait, seriously?"  Gray asked.

"Yeah...no"  I replied walking away.

I was so happy.  I think I really have feelings for Serene.  I really have never cared about a girl except now.  I decided to text Kayden and Jake.

Group Chat//Kayden, Jake

Ethan: you guys guess what!

Kayden: what?!

Jake: yeah, bro what?

Ethan: serene told me she likes me, and we kinda kissed

Kayden:  wait, no way!

I explained the whole thing to them.  They really didn't give me any advice.  Wow, girls have it so much easier with their friends, I swear they could be the FBI.  Well, I guess we will just see her at school tomorrow and go from there.

Grayson walked in the door, and he looked angry.

"ETHAN WHAT THE HELL!?" Grayson yelled

"Damn, chill what's wrong?" I asked.

"You kissed Serene? And you told her that you like her?" Grayson questioned.

"Ya...so?" I said confused.

"Ethan! I know what type of guys you are. If you break Serene you could be breaking a lot of other relationships. If you ruin this or just take advantage of her...your a dead man." Grayson said walking out of my room.

Why do people just look at me this way? I just can't seem to do anything right I guess.

•Serene's Pov•
I can't believe I told Ethan how I feel, finally. I thought he would never like me back. That kiss felt so right. I love me and Ethan's friendship, but I really don't know what to do at this point... I guess I will just see him at school and go from there.

•Grayson's Pov•
I have a bad feeling about this...a really bad one.
