•Ethan's Pov• I'm so happy our date went well. Of course my mom was more happy to hear that than I was. I told Kayden and Jake and they seemed excited too.
I woke up at 8:30, and got up because I was going running with Serene. We do it every Saturday morning. I got up and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face. As I rinsed my face I looked up in the mirror to see Grayson in the back.
"What do you want Gray?" I said wiping the remaining cleanser off my face.
"Ethan I heard that you and Serene are like 'official' now." He said putting air quotes around the official part.
"well yeah, I guess we are." I said smiling to myself.
"Ethan, in happy for you and all, but don't hurt her. She isn't just a random, she's been with us since we were 2. So if you know for a fact that you can't provide a good relationship for her, you might as well end it now." He said seriously.
My smile dropped.
This is what I was afraid of.
Not being good enough for her.
"Bro, what are you talking about? Of course I wouldn't hurt her. She's my girlfriend." I said confused.
"Ok, just making sure." He said walking away.
That was weird. I wonder what would make Grayson say that.
•Serene's Pov• I got up to go running with Ethan. He has football try outs soon, and I have tennis tryouts. I got up and pulled my hair up into a ponytail. I did my morning routines and got dressed.

I looked at my phone to see a text from Ethan.
Ethan💕: hey cutie, we're still running today right?
Serene: yeah of course, I'm ready hbu?
Ethan💕: yeah I am, I'm coming over right now.
Serene: k see you in a few seconds.
I was right. About 30 seconds later I heard the doorbell ring. I went downstairs to answer the door, but my brother Jackson beat me to it. I decided to stay back and watch what would happen.
"Hey bro, what's up." Jackson said hugging Ethan.
"Yeah, hey I'm here to pick Serene up, we are going running." Ethan replied.
"Yeah, about that. Ethan I love you as a brother, but if you hurt a hair on Serene's head, I will break yours." Jackson threatened.
"Understood!" Ethan said nervously.
"Cool...SERENE ETHAN IS HERE TO TAKE YOU RUNNING OR WHATEVER." I heard Jackson yell.
I hopped down the stairs and walked over to Ethan and gave him a kiss.
"How are you bub?" I said smiling and walking out the door.
"Good, how about you?" He said putting his arm around my shoulder.
"Good." I removed Ethan's hand from my shoulder. "Ethan, last I checked you can't run with your arm around my shoulder." I laughed.
"Aww ok, I guess I will have to go a whole 30 minutes." He said defeated.
We ran for 20 minutes. We decided to run to the Starbucks near our house and get coffee. I got a green tea latte, and Ethan got a refresher. We just sat on a bench with my head on his shoulder.
After we finished our coffee, we went to his house and watched a movie with Grayson. I am not sure why, but Gray always gives me weird looks when I'm hugging or kissing Ethan. Ethan says it's just nothing, but I want to know what's wrong...
