a few weeks had passed

since the incident

and that little encounter has only brought them closer together.

they were pretty much inseparable.

they hung out after school with one another as well as weekends doing all the typical relationship type things.

but yet they were still just friends.

and it was driving her crazy.

shawn was sprawled out across the edge of abby's bed his phone in his hands whilst abby laid on her stomach scrolling through the Netflix catalog for a good movie to watch

"ooh how about if i stay?"

"eh."

she groaned "I give up mendes."

abby shut the laptop closed and climbed onto shawns back she threw her arms lazily around his shoulders watching as he scrolled through his Instagram feed

shawn shut his phone off tossing it to the side he flipped over so that Abby was now sitting on top of him. he held her tiny waist in his hands as he smiled at her.

"shawn what are we?"

"I don't know what are we?" he responded sitting up as she rolled off of him

she shrugged

"Well, what do you want us to be?"

it was a moment before she spoke "honestly ever since that day in the bathroom I knew what I wanted you-well us to be. I wanted nothing more than for you to be mine and for me to be yours."

"okay so let's do that then." Shawn said grabbing ahold of abby's hand grazing the surface of her skin with the pad of his thumb.

"are you sure about this."

he nodded "why wouldn't I be?"

she tucked her hair behind her ear

"so what do you say abigal will you be my girlfriend?"

"yes." she smiled

he pulled her onto his waist smiling at her she placed her forehead against his and then it happened.

her lips slowly brushed up against his

and before either one of them knew it they were kissing.

her manicured nails tugged at his hair

and a soft moan slipped from his lips

and he pulled away

his face flushing a deep shade of red

"shit abby. don't do that."

she only giggled before she planted a small kiss on his cheek.
