Hopes pov
Day after
The adults were down stairs and the kids were upstairs
We hear a small growl that turns into a louder one
Then the smell of blood goes through the air I am not the only hydrid in our pack  me, Tobin,Ashlyn,,Carli,Abby,,Syd,,
press, JJ,Kling, and Dakota
I went up stairs followed by the other mothers of the pack and Ali
I went to Riley and ressces room were all the kids were except Dakota
I could hear her heart beat I walked into her room and she was sitting on her bed
The smell of blood grew when I went in I walked over to her and their were claw marks on her arm
"Who did this" I ask her she shakes her head no
Christie stands at the door way
"Dakota tell me who did this to your arm" I say
"Riley did it" Dakota said
"RILEY GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE" Christie yells
"Did you do that to Dakota's arm " Christie growled at her daughter
" yes" Riley growled back but looked at Dakota the whole time
" ROOM NOW" Christie yelled
Riley left
and Dakota's eye went wide
She got up and ran to Riley's room
I followed she ran to Riley and pushed her down on her bed and Riley growled and clawed at her
Dakota pushed Riley back and lifted her shirt
All over Riley's stomach were black vein lines
They only show up when someone has umore poisoning it messes with your emotions and behavior makes you do and say things you wouldn't do
"Ali" I called
Ali came in looked at Riley and used her gift to try and heal her
Ali pulled away
" I can't heal her " Ali said
"What do you mean you can't heal her"Christie said
" I mean there is nothing I can do it has been their to long you have to take her to the wolf hospital
"No" Riley screamed
She hates going to the hospital
"Dakota  what are you doing" Ali said
Riley growled and clawed at Dakota again.
Dakota put her hands on Riley's chest and stomach which only pissed Riley of more
Riley kept scratching her and hitting her in the rids
I tired getting Dakota away from Riley but it wasn't working
Dakota's body started glowing and humming almost her eyes started glowing as well.
Riley stopped hurting her the glow from Dakota got brighter and brighter until I could no longer look their was a big flash I opened my eyes and I saw Dakota falling
I used my vampire speed to get to her I caught her and picked her up she wasn't moving this worried me
" Dakota" I said no response
"Open your eye move do something "I say every worried now
I look up to see Riley is fine Now the poison is gone
Dakota hand moved she reached up then dropped it
She moved in my arms the grabbed the top of my shirt pulling it down and latching on me
I went into the room I shared with Carli and sat on the bed in I leaned back aginst the head borad
With. Dakota still latches on to me suckling  fast  on me
I sat there for a while until it Dakota finally let go
When she did I fixed me shirt and I look at my daughter to see all of her injuries were gone
" Mommy I wanna go down stairs" she said
"Ok" I said and carried her down to sit with the rest of the pack
"So Dakota has two gifts"Tobin asked
"I guess so but I do t know how it not possible" Abby said
"Unless she's the " I started
"You think that's her" Carli asked
" well she has two gifts more than any wolf or hydrid and Jerramy said something about her being worth something" I said
"Well we can find out tommorw when we go to the capital"Abby said
"We're going to the capital" Dakota asked excited
I chukled "yes"I say
"Why" she asks
"Because mommy has something to do there" I say
"Ooo I want to see the stone "she says I have never seen it before nor have I ever gone to the capital " she said
"Well tommorw will be your first" I say
And She smiles up at me a
